Dear Mr. President,

     I heard you say you will not guarantee SS checks if the debt ceiling isn't raised.
     Why is it, that "the scare" always has to do with SS, Medicare, & our Soldiers pay? Why not stop your pay, the pay of your staff, and the staff of the first lady, or Congress to save money for our country?
     Why always threaten Seniors, Soldiers, & the needy as examples?
     Take the money from those of you who take no risks - but take all the benefits from us!!! All of you who don't even take part in the same plans as the millions of people you're suppose "to serve" do!
     Instead of threatening to withhold Social Security, VA and disability payments of people who really need the money....Lets "STOP PAYMENT" on the paychecks of all those executive branch, house & senate members, then see how fast you can solve the debt crisis!!!
     Come experience our daily reality for a change!!!

The funny thing about it is that it is nowhere near complete! I can think of at least 6 more reason without too much trouble. Last week, (why am I writing this? NOBODY ever stops to think & comment!!)

Last week... President Obama... in his midday news conference, said the following..............

"If the American people looked at this, they'd say, boy, some of these decisions are tough, but they don't require us to gut Medicare or Social Security. They don't require us to stop helping young people go to college. They don't require us to stop helping families who've got a disabled child. They don't require us to violate our obligations to our veterans. And they don't require 'job-killing tax cuts.'"

(That's me highlighting the last sentence.) "And they don't require job-killing tax cuts."

Obama just can't get this right. He keeps on saying that cutting taxes is wrong. Cutting taxes kills jobs. He says raising taxes on businesses and successful individuals is right! (And especially you have to raise taxes on those dirty son's of bitches, the millionaires in America! Yeah, all those bastards who have had the ideas and created all those big million dollar businesses while holding us workers down for so long! Yeah, let's run over to where they live and throw them out of their houses and take them over in the name of the people!!!!!!!! Whoa, sorry got a bit carried away with the Dr. Zhivago moment there!) And his friends in the Press keep on letting him get away with it - day after day - month after month. And what happens? Well, even though he PROMISED that unemployment would never rise above 8% IF we let him spend his $787,000,000,000 billion stimulus package, today unemployment stands at 9.2%. Still, his friends in the Press say NOTHING!! And if you factor in under-employment and those Americans who have just stopped looking for a job because it's just too damn depressing - the full, total unemployment rate nearly reaches 20%!!!

(Here's some PERSPECTIVE .... if you're in a room with 5 other people - one of you is probably out of work!)

But Nobel Laureate's Obama and Paul Kruggggmann keep on telling everyone that SPENDING is the only way to create more jobs and bring down the deficit!!! (Now there's a reason to never believe a Nobel Prize winner!) SPEND, SPEND, SPEND your way out of debt!!! Geez, my daughter would love this analysis! That's right, a Harvard "wiz-kid" says that the more you spend the more you have and the better off you'll be! (Holy shit and I think I'm stupid!)

As a point of reference only, (because I know that many liberal thinkers believe Ronald Reagan was an old idiot)..... when Ronald Wilson Reagan took office in 1981, the upper most tax rate in America was 70%! Reagan cut that to 50% in 1982; then he cut it to 38.5% in 1987;  and finally he cut it to 28% in 1998.
What happened????? Well, thanks to that old idiot, that stupid, stupid old cowboy - Unemployment dropped from 9.2% to 5.3% and inflation plummeted from 13.5% to 4%. At the same time, real income for Americans grew by an average $4,000.

Honestly, getting back to our contrarian President, I don't understand how one guy can be so miserably wrong so consistently, and STILL be lauded as a genius??? His position is indefensible and diametrically opposed to a majority of economists - but he keeps on spewing the lie! What's more - his position flies in the face of anyone who has ever tried to explain elementary spending to their adolescent children. Worse still - It contradicts ANYTHING every immigrant from the last century learned even before they got off the boat that brought them here! And I'd be doing a disservice to my dear departed mother and father if I didn't scream this out at the top of my lungs - so here goes ...........

On Monday night I came home after work anxious to hear President Obama's speech about the budget.

During the day I had heard that Obama had sent a personal invitation to Congressman Paul Ryan to have him hear the speech from the front row.

Imagine my shock when I heard on my drive home Monday evening, that Obama's speech had been made during the afternoon - and that he wouldn't be addressing the entire nation

that evening. While watching the news then on Monday night, I figured out "why" the President had invited Congressman Paul Ryan to attend his speech. Obama did so, so that he could look down from his teleprompters and podium and "personally bitch-slap" Ryan and other Republicans for even attempting to submit an alternative to what Obama wanted for a budget! And he did so in front of an adoring college audience!!! What a pathetic coward!

Oh yeah. Showing the immature "smallness" that has become second nature to our C-I-C, (that would be "our Communist-In-Chief") Obama once again thumbed his nose at ANYONE who dares to suggest something different than what he or Michelle wants to hear! To the rousing cheers of his 18 to 25 year old cult followers, the self-confessed smartest man in America explained, that once again the failed Bush administration has forced Him to come up with a budget. As always, showing the true extent of His psychosis, our C-I-C gave us no specifics - no plan - no roadmap for how this budget was going to be accomplished. BUT, he assured us that His will, WILL be done!!

Gosh, there's just nothing better than hearing TYRANNY spoken is such unmistakable terms! (And with all those wonderful "whistled" s'es at the end of his words! Ever notice that? When Obama wants to sound "Fatherly," Presidential, or especially professorial, he whistles the s'es on the end of words. To me it makes him sound like he's got a lisp - but his "handlers" must've told him it sounds good.)

As I watched a replay and heard some of the adoring comments from students that had heard his pronouncement on Monday, my belief was solidified on a couple of issues.

With absolute assuredness I can guarantee to all of you reading this - and to your children - and your grand children, that . . . . . . .

PRESIDENT BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT YOU .... UNLESS

UNLESS you are an impressionable collegiate student;
UNLESS you consider yourself a minority first (and a citizen second);
UNLESS you make millions of dollars in the United States annually and don't care how much he raises your taxes to;
UNLESS you make your millions in Music, Movies, or Sports;
UNLESS you are a dues paying member of any State or Federal Union;
UNLESS you are in this country illegally;
UNLESS you believe everything you hear on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, NPR, MSNBC, or read in the New York or LA Times;
UNLESS you believe that OPRAH & OBAMA are the only people who understand & care about you;
UNLESS you believe that America OWES you an education, a job, a house and "free" living for the rest of your life!

So what does this mean? Literally? In the crudest of terms? Well, sorry to have to say this, but Our C-I-C has determined that if you are white, have worked hard and achieved a moderate amount of success, obeyed the rules and paid your taxes, he doesn't need you to get re-elected. He's not worried. Obama knows that if he can just get college students, Hollywood, union members and minority citizens to vote for him - he's a sure winner.

And as for the budget....he really doesn't care about that either. What his mind set is now, is to use as much fear mongering and race baiting as he can in order to "loosen up" the purse strings of all his potential supporters. He's announced that he'll NEED a BILLION dollars in order to get re-elected. And so what if he doesn't use it all on the re-election campaign - he and Michelle need a tidy little nest egg to get them started on their lives after the Presidency.

A week ago I met a friend I hadn't seen in quite a while - and he asked me why I wasn't writing blog posts that often anymore?

I told him that with driving "all those hours and all those miles" each week, I ended up being awfully tired come Friday - certainly too tired to deal with the failing performance of the second rate college lecturer we currently have sitting in the White House. (We chuckled at that one), but as I walked away I thought more about his question. Why hadn't I been writing? I certainly had a fertile enough field of subjects, given everything that President Obama has "foisted" upon us during his short & ignoble tenure.

Gradually, I settled on this explanation for my inaction. I'm so angry and so disgusted at what is happening in this country that I'm beyond the point of just writing about some incident.

Let me set up an easy example for you .....

Liberals tell us that they're fair and open-minded, that they're willing to listen to any idea. All of the major news networks extol the virtues of their own networks as being all inclusive and fair. (And in this I include FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, CNN, MSNBC and the other minor news broadcasters.) The mainstream press tells us that they report everything fairly. All Congressmen & Senators speak about their willingness to embrace by-partisanship. And our Chief Executive spends countless hours hosting dinners and award celebrations, weighing in on NFL litigation, and happenings around the country centered on his support of Union efforts.

Here's the example .... What have you heard reported about our brave fighting men and women in Iraq or Afghanistan in the last few months? What backing and support have you heard coming from anywhere concerning the WINNING of THE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM?

Unfortunately for our men and women fighting overseas, AND FOR THEIR FAMILIES here at home - the President and His Press Corps as well as the major networks have gotten what they wanted. They have managed to relegate the bloody battles and lives of our soldiers to the back pages. In other words, they've gotten us to forget about what we're fighting for. FREEDOM, LIBERTY, and the absolute annihilation of our terrorist enemies. While tens of thousands of soldiers are sweating and bleeding in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere - Obama and his minions have gotten us to forget about the military altogether...unless of course we're cutting some more money out of the military budgets!

Obama and his ilk want you to care more about children eating too many McDonalds rather than our soldiers being killed by IED's, or picked off by Taliban snipers. They want you to care more about "the Motown sound" rather than about our soldiers sweating and bleeding in Afghanistan. They want you to care more about fat-cat Unionists being granted exemptions from Obama care, rather than than the thousands of U.S. soldiers who have to beg for proper healthcare and service pay. What ever happened to obliterating islamofascist scum in their sleep with a couple bunker busters?

How do families with children fighting overseas sleep at night knowing that this "Manchurian president" couldn't give a rats ass if they lived or died? This is the same schmuck who didn't care enough to cover his heart at the playing of Our National Anthem. Who until recently eschewed the wearing of an American Flag lapel pin. The same guy who STILL doesn't understand the reasoning behind why American Presidents and American Flags NEVER bow to foreign dignitaries!

For all the support they're being given, our uniformed fighting men and women, have to realize that they're being hung out to dry by a Commander in Chief who really holds them in distain. Every last one of these brave souls deserves better! And every one of them PLUS their immediate and extended families, should come back to the United States and immediately start fighting against this failed President and any politician who supports even one item on his agenda!

If the Unionists can demonstrate and hold a state capital building hostage for 8 days - maybe it's time for us "average citizens" on the Right to demonstrate in order to get elected officials to do what we elected them to do!

Couple of short thoughts....regarding so many things!! (Orignally posted 7/6/2010)

Have you noticed that our illustrious PRESS hasn't even come close to "foaming at the mouth" like they would have if a Republican was in office.

BTW - a couple of months ago I promised to tell you all where I fell on the Nolan Chart survey of political beliefs. (I somewhat surprised myself on this one!) After answering the 10 questions my "star" positioning was on the outer edge of the green Libertarian quadrant - almost exactly between the uppermost point and the Conservative red line. I would have thought I'd have been more closely aligned with the conservative side of things, but there's no mistaking my Libertarian leanings!

I was listening to "The Wilcow Majority" on my Sirius radio while driving in Upstate New York last week, when host Andrew Wilcow said something that I couldn't let go of for a few days afterward! It was his description - his summary - of how the OBAMA regime is taking care of this country. What he said was this...."In Obama's America the needs of the recipients, outweigh the rights of the providers!" He's damn right in my estimation - and unfortunately, come January of next year, when the first of the new taxations start to appear EVERYONE is going to see exactly what he means. He also ends each segment of his show by saying, "We are right - they are wrong - and that's all there is to it!" Tune in some time!

It is my observation, that Obama has done more to inflame the hostility between the races than he's done to cool it!! It is my observation that Obama is purposely and knowingly fanning hostilities between Whites, Latinos & Blacks ... as well as doing the same between supporters of Israel and all Arabic and Muslim nations.

In addition, his rabid SOCIALISM has almost become FASCISM as it relates to his drive to control multiple industries and companies. Banks, stock markets, insurance companies, housing, health insurance, energy... Jesus, what's next? Did you ever, ever in your craziest dreams envision a day when a sitting American president would take over the auto industry - and tell a company president he's fired???? And because of his actions, the UNIONS are now substantial stock holders in those auto companies!!! My God this is Through the Looking Glass stuff!!

When he took over the government on Inauguration Day he called for - and Reid & Pelosi rushed through Congress - his grab of $787 Billion of our tax dollars. It doesn't matter that all of it hasn't been utilized yet; it doesn't matter that he has not told us where all of it has gone. Now he wants another $70 - 80 BILLION more!

Pardon me here for a moment (put your fingers in your children's ears) .... WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS MARXIST PRESIDENT DOING WITH ALL OUR MONEY????

And please tell me if I'm wrong... one of Obama's greatest skills, is his ability to "flit" from one issue to another. Resting only long enough on each issue to maximize how much "his touch" turns the whole thing to SHIT! And then (great Obama descriptor coming up) "blithely" flitting on!!! Last week - BP and the oil spill that he was going to vanquish! This week nothing on oil, but he's off making a speech supporting Illegal Immigrants in Arizona about how he was going to fight for their rights!!! What a schmuck! Never mind that he refused help from 14 nations re: cleaning up the oil slick! Never mind that Bobby Jindal is still waiting for Obama - bucks! Never mind that he STILL HASN'T TEMPORARILY LIFTED THE JONES ACT - to allow foreign vessels to assist in the cleanup. Now he's off to garner the votes from ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS by slamming the Governor of Arizona! Who wouldn't have had to sign a new law into effect - it the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT had enforced the CURRENT FEDERAL LAW and protected our southern border!!!!!!

I'm appalled when I think of all the things this untenured college instructor has changed about our country since he's taken over. I worry that we'll never be able to undue the damage he's done! I listen daily to him and Pelosi and Reid and Shumer, going on and on about what-all they still need to accomplish! FOR WHAT???? Aren't you satisfied with how much you've ruined the country all ready?

If there's one thing WORSE than everything that Obama has done since swearing to ..."preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" to the best of his ability, it is the absolute ineptitude the Republicans have shown in fighting against Obama's plans and actions!!!! I swear to Jesus there is not a set of balls, nor is there a strategic brain between any of the Republicans in Congress! Obama's greatest asset in his bid to get re-elected in 2012, is the inability for the Republicans to uncover any sort of a viable, fire breathing, conservative to challenge this weaker-than-Carter college instructor! And would someone please grab a hold of RNC Chairman Steele and put a muzzle on him!

Are You Still Mad?

Are you still mad….or have you forgotten all of the ways this Administration has screwed up your lives? I'm still mad as hell! And I want to keep that fire growing!!

I'm not only mad at the liberal, progressive, subversive democrat/socialists that make up the group that run this country (these are who I truly despise) ….. I'm just as mad – perhaps more so – with any left-leaning, middle-of-the-road "RINO" currently in office or looking for my vote! People like John McCain, whom I'm convinced is a fine person – but is someone who would have governed this country by trying to appease Democrats and adopt their "can't we all just get along" policies. Horseshit to that!

Before I get too far along in this piece let me make one thing perfectly clear ….. Barack Hussein Obama is a lying sack of shit.

This is my personal opinion after watching and listening to him during his reign as our Tsar, oops sorry, President.

What is perhaps worse than lying to the American people before and during his tenure, is Obama's absolute failure to listen to a majority of his citizens regarding the most pressing policy issues… namely jobs and taxation, socialized medicine, illegal immigration, and the unchecked growth of big government. "Tone deaf" is too weak a term to describe his actions; "Stone deaf" is probably a better description.

For me, his "deafness" further illustrates that Obama had a "road map" completely defined before entering the White House. It detailed how he would drive this country into a social democracy during his first term in office. I believe that - if anything - Obama has been shocked that he's been able to be so successful, so quickly. And this has only solidified his resolve, added to his arrogance, and sped up his timetable toward socialization. And I believe that his plan had been forming well before he decided to run for the Presidency. As calculating as we all believe Hillary is, this guy makes Hillary look like a babe-in-the-woods.

One of his first lies to America came in November of 2004, the day after being elected to the Illinois Senate, when he said he wouldn't be comfortable running on a national ticket unless he had the experience to support such a bid. (There's a tape of this on YouTube you can look at if you're interested.) Only a short time later he must've obviously felt "experienced enough" to run against Hillary Clinton – because he did! Clearly, Mr. Obama was lying then, because he hadn't been in the state senate long enough to find his way to the men's room let alone gain any useful experience!

And then there's the "whopper" he told in order to get everyone to sign off on his "Stimulus Bill!" You remember when he "guaranteed" that if you would just give him just a measly little $787 BILLION unemployment wouldn't go above 8%!! Remember that? Ironically, almost immediately after getting what he wanted, unemployment hit 9 and then 10%! After damn near a year spending our money on his failed stimulus, the Obama media is lauding, LAUDING mind you, that unemployment has come all the way down to 9.5%!! And even socialist driven 60 Minutes this past Sunday had to report that underemployment had risen to 15.5%!! But Obama's no fool ….. he doesn't care, he just went back and asked for another $50 BILLION because he wants to stimulate the economy some more!!! "Dear Mr. Obama….did you know that just a little under 1 out of five Californians are out of work? How about 1 out of every four Nevadans? Great job on that stimulus … dumbass".

Obama keeps having this problem with telling the truth. Remember when he said in a press conference, "the last thing this President wants to do is to run a car company." BINGO! Less than a week later he fired the President of Chrysler and now we have OBAMA MOTORS! LIAR!!!

Obama even lies about his past and the Press never reports on it or hunts down the truth. Obama said he was a Professor of Law at Harvard. Oops sorry Bar, you were a senior lecturer - On Leave. He's also been quoted as saying he was a Constitutional Lawyer at Harvard. Sorry again Barry, senior lecturer On Leave was the highest position you got!

Obama PROMISED that there would be no lobbyists in HIS White House! Oops!!! 17 lobbyist were in there doing business during the first two weeks!!

Obama PROMISED the American people "an Economic Recovery Plan that is free from earmarks and pet-projects!" The Economic Recovery Plan had T H O U S A N D S of earmarks in it! (Just a little more than 8000, to be exact.) And even though the Fawning Mainstream Press didn't cover it too well, Obama was caught on air having to defend it! Way to go Prez.

I guess what I'm fighting with inside me, is my total disbelief at what an embarrassment this guy actually is. Do you remember how all the libs used to make fun of George W. Bush & Sarah Palin? They still do. They LOVE to ridicule Sarah Palin for not having any experience. They still become giddy when they talk about everything this president is going to accomplish while in office. Well, to say he's been an embarrassment to this point, is being too diplomatic. This was the President that was going to have the rest of the world "loving" America again. What a crock!! As far as accomplishments ..... how do you gauge backward accomplishments?

He made them his Cabinet officials, and his "Tsars." Not one of his cabinet members ever, E-VER, ran a company or created a job! Not one – not EVER! (Pause for effect) He even had an avowed Communist in his administration – Van Jones. (One that he was smart enough to get rid of pretty quickly once it came to light). Here is an open invitation to any of my Jewish friends, who would like to answer a question & send a comment to me on an issue impacting Jewish survival.

Question: Why would anyone of Jewish faith or ancestry support Barack Hussein Obama?

I asked myself this question first during 2007 and 2008, because I couldn't put my arms around a consistently plausible answer OTHER than .... there are a good many liberal Jewish people, who have always supported "democratic ideals and causes." But even during his initial forays into the primary campaign - Barack Obama had and was making comments that frankly scared me.

Some personal history ...... I grew up in West Orange, New Jersey during the 1950's. A beautiful small town in Essex County, New Jersey with a pretty sizable Jewish population. I learned early in my childhood about the horrors of the Holocaust. Many of my friends parents, or grandparents had loved ones lost to the Nazi atrocities. Unfortunately, during my adolescent years some terrorist blew up a Temple in West Orange. Still being relatively stupid, since this didn't concern my Lutheran faith - I really didn't keep tabs on whether anyone was caught for this crime. I confess to being ignorant and self absorbed. I apologize now for the ignorance and inaction. I've never lost that feeling of not doing something to help hang the bastards that blew up that Temple!

So... now America has elected a Democratic President. Largely, with the support of many Jewish voters. (I'd love to know the percentage of Jewish Americans who voted for Obama in 2008?)

Now.... you have a President in Washington who bows & scrapes to Arab dignitaries and holds photo ops with socialist dictators!
A President who is more concerned with Jews in Israel building homes in Jerusalem, than he is with "Achmadinejhad" getting the atomic bomb!
A President who makes a rule that we are no longer allowed to refer to "Islamic radicalism" or "the war on terror" because it might offend Muslims; but thinks nothing of walking out of a dinner with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu - thereby insulting one of Americas greatest allies!

Great guy ain't he? Why should Jews worry?

What message is Obama sending to Israel or our other allies? What message is Obama sending to Tehran and our enemies?

Since the early 1990's there have been 18 separate instances of nuclear material being stolen or going missing. Comforting thought right? Gee I wonder where they went????

Almost monthly we hear of Iran and the "I'm a dinner jacket" guy talking about how many more centrifuges they are bringing on line in order to enrich Plutonium. This is the same crazed psychopath who has already said that Israel should be wiped off the map!! Does anyone, anywhere - have the slightest doubt - that Iran will ABSOLUTELY try to bomb Israel once they get "the bomb?" I mean if anyone doubts this - you've gotta be nuts!!!

What would one nuclear bomb detonated against Israel do to the State of Israel???
What does it say about the U.S., letting these sworn enemies of our allies, continue to work toward getting the atomic bomb.... when they've already told us THEY'RE-GOING-TO-USE- IT!!!!! HAVE WE ALL TAKING LEAVE OF OUR SENSES???????

But Obama is worried about new construction in Jerusalem! Oyyyyy!!! Holy shit!!!!!

Sometimes I swear, this has to be printed on B. H. Obama's business card. Well, at least the "SuperGenius" part!!!

I mean, we're forever being reminded by the papers & the media that he's just the smartest person who's ever been IN, let alone occupied, the White House. For God sake, Frank Rich and Chris Matthews regularly reach ecstasy just by hearing him speak!

And when we're not being reminded in writing .... well, there he is on television making appearance after appearance with that haughty, chin-raised smirky, smarmy Haavaaard grin. As if he's saying to all of us..."see what I can do. I'm so much better than you." Soo smart! What else could explain his latest "master stroke" of Obama genius - he's just smarter!

Many of you might have missed this last week, but just a day after "Stretch" Pelosi climbed aboard "Botox One" and flew her tax-payer paid-for traveling Botox hunt back to SanFran .... and just a day after the rest of the "Obama Adoration Society" better known as Congress left for their "spring break," our resident genius Wile E. Coyote Obama decided to show us just how smart he really is.

Fresh off his healthcare "landslide" victory, and with no one left in Washington to question his actions, he decided he would bypass Congress and install 15 appointments that have been BLOCKED by Congress for a number of months. Now, don't get crazy on me, I know "recess appointments" are not unusual. Clinton did it - both Bush's did it - virtually every modern President has done it. But no one has done it with more GENIUS than Barack Hussein Obama!! Check this out ....

Having already defied over 60% of the American population who said they DIDN'T want healthcare reform, just days previously.

After LYING to the American people no less than 8 separate times, saying that all Healthcare debates would be carried live on C-SPAN.

After breaking his promise to EVERY AMERICAN of posting every bill that comes before him on the internet for a period of 5 days, so the American people can read every bill that he reads, and voice their opinion to him.

This one is just priceless. PRICELESS!!! (Oh yeah, and it's so smart!!!)

Wile E. Obama, or Barack Coyote Obama has just appointed a former A.F.L. - C.I.O. General Counsel (read this union lawyer) to one of just 5 seats on the National Labor Relations Board! This would be simply bizarre, if it wasn't so STUPID!

For those of you who don't know, the National Labor Relations Board is the "supreme court" of governance & arbitration in issues concerning legality between unionized workforces and management. The NLRB is a separate Federal agency established by Congress in 1935 to administer the National Labor Relations Act, the basic law governing relations between labor unions and the employers whose operations affect interstate commerce. On the U.S. Supreme Court there are 9 justices; on the NLRB there are 5 seats.

To lawyers - the US Supreme Court is the tip of the spear; to Company's & business leaders - the NLRB is just as important!!! Got it?

As such, it is essential that the 5 seats on the Board are occupied by individuals who are BEYOND REPROACH. They must be "SQUEAKY CLEAN" - THERE MUST BE NO QUESTION REGARDING THEIR IMPARTIALITY!!!! So what does the smartest man who's ever entered the White House do???? He appoints an AFL-CIO union lawyer to fill one of the seats, AND to compound his stupidity, he appoints another New York labor attorney to fill another one of the seats. THIS MEANS THAT BEFORE ANY ISSUE IS EVEN ARGUED BEFORE THE BOARD - 2 OF 5 VOTES ARE IN THE POCKET OF THE UNIONS, ORGANIZED LABOR!!!

Let me make sure all of you understand this....

This is like making your ex-wife's divorce lawyer, the Judge in your current divorce case!

Speaking on ABC's "This Week", House Speaker Nancy Pelosi commented, "I think everybody wants affordable health care for all Americans.
They know that this will take courage. It took courage to pass Social Security. It took courage to pass Medicare. And many of the same forces
that were at work decades ago are at work again against this bill."

I have a very simple question for speaker Pelosi ...... Define "Americans" please? Certainly, she'll never tell you. Unfortunately nobody in Washington nor in the media is asking that question or telling you the truth about the answer. Why? Because the answer would only serve to defeat ObamaCare immediately. To Pelosi, Reid, Emanuel, and Obama "all Americans" includes ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. So what's more likely to bring an even greater flood of illegal immigrants to the United States than the GOVERNMENT MANDATE of healthcare for Illegal's ... PAID FOR BY ALL US STUPID FEDERAL TAXPAYERS????

And as Obama and Emanuel know, more illegal's will ultimately translate into more VOTES for Liberal Candidates. And once illegal's have healthcare, DO YOU THINK THEY'RE EVER GOING TO LEAVE? And how much further of a leap is it once they have healthcare - to give them licenses, voting rights, and of course a "simpler, quicker road to citizenship?"

IT YOU DON'T SEE THIS COMING - CHANGE YOUR MIDDLE NAME TO "NAÏVE!"

As of this past weekend 60+ percent of American voters DON'T support Obama's healthcare plan but these three Socialists are ready to push it through! Now why do you suppose that is???

Hell, they've already SOLD the "Louisiana Purchase" to Sen. Mary Landrieu for $300 million of OUR tax money for her vote!
They SOLD Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson the "Cornhusker Kickback" for $100 million of OUR tax money for his vote!
They've given $300 million of OUR tax money to California Doctors for their votes.
They've given "certain assurances" to AARP and now that seniors group is fully behind Obamacare whereas last year they were against it.
And just this week - Obama gave a Federal Appellate Judgeship to the brother of Utah Congressman Jim Matheson while Congressman Matheson was dining at the White House with Obama and 9 other "former" NO voters in Congress.

WHY?

Because they will do, and promise, and threaten, and give ANYTHING to win this one vote! Because they know that Socialism will be well on the way to permanency in the United States if they can just force this one bill through, NOW! It is the "cornerstone" of socialist philosophy. Gently force the people to take minor services from the GOVERNMENTS healthcare trough now, and you will be able to change anything you want to in the future. Once you force small social change now, you can force whatever large change you want in the future by threatening to withhold whatever entitlements you need to withhold. This makes the people do what you want. Classic socialist philosophy and practice. (By the time they realize they're pets, it will be too late!)

And let's be brutally honest, how many illegal aliens are going to refuse taking ANYTHING that's being given to them for free - but paid for by the U.S. taxpayer???

And how many "down on their luck" Americans are going to turn away from yet another "free government entitlement?"

All this translates to Pelosi, Obama, and Emanuel as VOTES in future elections - and vindication for their failed socialist agenda. They will reap the benefit ... for ruining the best healthcare system in the world .... and for "changing" The United States of America into The United Socialist State of North America. Because once this goes through, there will virtually be no more need for individual state's rights, or borders between Mexico and the United States - because the flood north will overwhelm the borders.

Don't think it can happen? WAKE UP, SCHMUCK! IT ALREADY IS!!!

Call your Senator's and Congressmen every week. Be polite but firm. Tell them that you are watching and if they vote for Obamacare you will publish their names in an email to all your friends and relatives, and you will vote against them in any election!

Every time I hear that COMMUNISTS are being welcomed at "The People's House" my blood boils!!

Van Jones, President Obama's "Green Czar" and a self-described communist - (who was forced to resign from the President's appointed czarist position in September), is still advising the President on Climate & Environmental issues. Can you believe this crap?

Jones has become part of the Presidential Climate Action Project. Funded by our tax dollars and run out of the University of Colorado, the PCAP has welcomed Jones as a Presidential Advisor! As stated by the groups executive director, William S. Becker, Van Jones and the rest of the PCAP are "about to propose a new and more assertive strategy for President Obama to raise the bar on the U.S. climate goal, with or without Congress."

Even after hundreds and thousands of scientists world-wide have come out AGAINST the Al Gore Global Warming or Climate Change hoax, Obama and his environmental loons are still pushing to revive the discredited and scandalous hoax that has already cost the United States and all Americans, millions upon millions of dollars - and thousands and thousands of jobs! Their ultimate aim, led by President Obama and supported by Marxists like Jones, is the passage of the already discredited "Cap & Trade" bill. This bill would ruin still more of our industrial system, killing thousands more jobs and banning us from ever using the vast natural resources of oil, coal and natural gas we have within our country's borders. Think about it - instead of tapping into the vast oil deposits, coal deposits, and natural gas deposits we have under our feet here in the continental United States, while we perfect alternative types of fuel, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the environmental loons want to insure our dependency on foreign oil, by prohibiting OUR use of OUR OWN natural resources!! AND WE'RE LISTENING TO THESE PEOPLE! There's logic for you - We're putting Americans out of work on a daily basis, we're allowing our enemies to gouge us price-wise for oil, steel, and other products, we're importing resources WE'RE STANDING ON but aren't allowed to use!

Apparently, what happens now in America, is you get forced to resign from your "Czar's position" in the White House, after you claim the Bush administration was responsible for 9/11. Then, you're hired as an adviser by another Presidentially funded action committee, and you waltz back into advising your old buddy in the Oval Office. Geez isn't that convenient!!!

REALLY ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

During the holidays I spoke or traded emails with more than a few people who wondered, "Why haven't you been writing more about the Obama presidency?" A few even said they missed reading my pieces ...."because they always made me laugh and think!" (Pride prevented me from asking if the laughter I caused was based upon my "wit" or simply because I'm such a dullard? Hmm).

So I went back and checked my records and found out that my number of postings for 2009 were off by more than 75% during President Obama's first year in office. But, of the slightly more than 2 dozen postings I had made during 2009, only 3 or 4 didn't deal with him, (sorry, Him), in some way. I'm certain that at the time of President Obama's Inaugural address, I made a personal resolution to "give him a chance" and see how he would lead us. I can frankly tell you that during the last 6 months at least, I have had a much harder time sticking to my resolution! And I've caught myself at times, fighting to not write something that I thought I should!

Frankly, I find myself even today, struggling to choose the right words - parsing my words and rewriting my sentences - fearful even now of saying the wrong thing! While at the same time still equally hopeful that my thoughts and writings could describe my honest unblemished beliefs, and still be covered by the First Amendment ... and that I wouldn't suddenly find myself "audited" by our friends at the IRS!!! (What? Who's paranoid?)

So why did I curtail posting more regularly this past year? Well, in a nutshell, if I'd written my complete unvarnished reactions to all of our president's actions as they were happening, I think I'd have, (as Ricky Ricardo put it), a helluva lot of "splainin' to do!" In my estimation, between his lying, his spending like a drunken democrat, and his "outsourcing" the governance and leadership of this country to Nancy & Harry, Rahm & David.... well geez, what could possibly be wrong with that???

Throughout this inaugural year, I've been shocked as I listened to news broadcasters, and read magazine and newspaper pieces whose authors have described just how smart Barack Obama is. They've portrayed him as "Kennedy-esque," as the greatest communicator since Lincoln! Truly, they make him sound like the worlds greatest intellect! Even after an entire year, Chris Matthews of MSNBC is STILL feeling a thrill go up his leg when he hears Obama speak! And Keith Olbermannnnnnn, I swear, wants to have Barack's children!

So let's examine, just for a bit, how truly smart President Barack Obama is ...

Would a smart man, APPOINT to "czarist" administration posts, individuals who admit to being communists, or those who have served in various communist organizations?? Obama did! Both Green Jobs Czar Van Jones, (who has since been forced to resign), and Energy and Environment Czar Carol Browner, are admitted socialists and have worked for communist organizations. And Obama's new FCC Chief Diversity Officer, Mark Lloyd who abhors free speech (among other American freedoms), thinks Hugo Chavez is a revolutionary hero!
Would a smart man, or a logical one, bemoan the fact that He "inherited a huge deficit from the previous administration" ...... and then go out and QUADRUPLE the national debt in less than one year? Obama did!! And now after spending his way to a quadrupling of the national debt, Obama has gone back to Congress and asked for ANOTHER Stimulus package! That's right he wants more of YOUR money! This time it's a $154 Billion Jobs Bill...and guess what...."Nancy's funhouse" approved it in mid December!
Would a smart man, or even a thoughtful one, take a healthcare system which is UNARGUABLY the best healthcare system in the entire world - and seek to dismantle it simply because he perceives that 47 million people in the U.S. don't have healthcare? Obama still wants too!! Even after it's been proven that 20 million of those 47 million uninsured folks, are in this country illegally - President Obama has spent millions upon millions of our tax dollars trying to steamroll through Congress his single payer socialized healthcare plan. And the real "kicker" in all this is that after spending all that money - the plan "His Minions" in Congress have come up with - - still fails to cover more than 25 million Americans!!! So all his planning and spending hasn't accomplished the basic premise of what they set out to do! OH YES, VERY SMART!
Would a smart man - especially one as smart as President Obama - go on national television to address the American people, and state that America has "systemic problems" ..... and the very next day offer as a solution, MORE GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEMS??? For that matter, I remember early in his presidency, President Obama coming before the American people during a press conference and saying, "Beyond that, the last thing that I want is to be running a car company, or to be having to make decisions about what the auto market of the future is going to look like." Next thing you know, not only is our President in charge of running a couple car companies, he's in charge of running the banking industry and the housing industry! And the car companies he's running are loosing money, and the banks he's running haven't been doing too good a job keeping families from defaulting on their mortgages - have they?? Here's a quiz for you .... Do you know any person that has had their mortgage or home saved by Obama stimulus dollars???
WOULD A TRULY SMART MAN SURROUND HIMSELF WITH A CABINET AND A FLOCK OF CZARS THAT HAVE NO EXPERIENCE RUNNING A COMPANY, OR SATISFYING A WEEKLY PAYROLL, OR ESTABLISHING OR ADHERING TO AN ANNUAL BUDGET??? Well, that's just what Obama has done.
Finally, would even a moderately smart man, make the calculated decision to once again place New York City back in the cross-hairs of every Islamofascist son-of-a-dog by bringing the "terror trails" of the fat hairy scum sheik back to New York? Does that make any sense? Especially since we have a state-of-the-art court already built and furnished at a maximum security prison known as Guantanamo Bay! Now that, was a truly brilliant decision!

As far as I'm concerned President Obama has done a very poor job in any respect, during his first year in office.

**He promised to be nonpartisan, and has failed miserably on that! True, Nancy & Harry not allowing any Republican contribution to bills in the House or Senate didn't help. But as the President of his party, Obama could have demanded this practice stop, and he didn't.

**He promised not to ever sign a budget with any earmarks in it, and his first budget had over 8500 earmarks after he signed it!

**He promised that there would be no lobbyists working within his administration, and yet today there are hundreds doing so!

**He promised that his administration would be COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT, and that all debates on universal healthcare would be broadcast on C-SPAN! 8 times he promised this and it has NEVER happened!

**He says that he's "a limited government sort of a guy," and yet during his first year he has grossly increased not only the size of government, but the size of what government will take from each of us!

**His plan for healthcare DISHONESTLY cloaks from citizens the fact that the tax increases necessitated by the healthcare changes will only begin AFTER his re-election bid in 2012!

**He cries out for increased taxes on the rich - and yet he goes to Copenhagen to accept a personal $1.6 million NOBEL award. Did he donate that check?

It is my belief that Barack Obama is merely an accomplished speech giver. Perhaps Hillary Clinton recognized that this sooner than many of us when she said , "and Barack Obama has a speech he gave in 2002." How prophetic her words seem now. It is obvious that he can excite a crowd with his prepared speeches. He is after all, as all college professors must be, a good lecturer. Which is what we've experienced during his hundreds of prepared comments during his first year in office. He succeeds only at lecturing, at pontificating. He utterly fails at performing and at leading. Obama's idea of leadership has been to a) continuously apologize for America's actions; b) bow & scrape to foreign leaders, and c) complain about His predecessor seemingly on a daily basis! That's not leadership in my book - that's "talking down" the country you are sworn to protect and defend!

It is also my belief that President Barack Obama is perhaps the most dangerous politician in America today. I truly don't believe he is hurting this country out of malice. But regardless of whether his actions are intentional or unintentional, Barack Obama's vision of America is as a socialist society, not as a representative republic. While he was attending Occidental College it has been reported that he was openly Marxist. He does not deny this - but has mysteriously had all his papers and articles written while he was a student "sealed." This is so curious, isn't it? His current "redistribution of wealth" philosophy, as well as his belief in single payer, socialized medicine, and his embrace of all workers unions, are all emblematic "guideposts" of socialism.

These beliefs, when espoused as virtues by a college student, or even while he was a Harvard professor might be acceptable. But as the President of the United States, whose Oath of Office binds him to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, these beliefs carry an all-together different and very troubling aspect. These beliefs have NO place in the United States and certainly no place in the Oval Office! Our founding fathers established this country as a representative republic - not a Leninist collective.

Perhaps the greatest accomplishment of President Obama during his first year, has been the realization by many millions of Americans as to the mistake they made last election day. I can only hope that patriotic Americans will continue to come together to battle against the further dissolution of our American freedoms, and to fight to take back our country from those who seek to turn it into something it was never intended to be.

Every day I get more and more angry at Our Congress and Our President. They seem to have forgotten that it is them who work for us, and not the other way around!

Today... even with 61% of the American People shouting that they DON'T WANT HEALTHCARE REFORM....Harry Reid and the Senate, Nancy Pelosi and the House, and President Obama keep running toward the complete socialization of the American healthcare system! This is an OUTRAGE!!!

I want you all to think about something .... even though a majority of American citizens have said they don't want healthcare reform .... these 3 politicians (who we elected to do OUR bidding) are ONE STEP AWAY from changing FOREVER the American Healthcare industry.

And it WILL be FOREVER!!! Let me repeat that... and it will be FOREVER - Because in "Section C" of Harry Reid's Senate Healthcare Reform Bill there is a clause that prohibits any member of the House of Representatives or Senate from ever revising or removing this bill once it has been enacted! Google Senator DeMint's comments on the Senate floor last night if you don't believe me.

These three thieves of our liberties are setting this country up for a colossal collapse! Not only are they spending us and our children and our grandchildren into debt we cannot ever hope to climb out of. They are also setting themselves and their colleagues in Congress apart from the rest of the American populace!

By every one of their actions during this last 12 months - the congress and the president have established themselves as the "ruling aristocracy" of America while they continue to heap upon all the rest of the American citizenry, unrestrained modes of taxation! With each new speech by the President and edict from Congress, every American citizen looses more and more of the money they work so hard to earn. You would think by their actions, that congress believes our money IS their money! Look at how Senior Americans are being treated. Seniors who have paid into governmental programs all their lives and have been promised medical care & social security payment, are now being told there will be none for them in a few short years!

AND STILL THE TYRANTS IN WASHINGTON SEEK TO SPEND AND TAX MORE!!!!

Americans, listen to me I beg you. We must all rise up and demand that this tyranny stop! It is your right and duty to do so!

Demand that the President stop this Socialization of our country!
Demand that all of Congress be covered by the same healthcare WE THE PEOPLE are forced to be covered by.
Demand that all Congressional business be conducted in public open chambers! Allowing all Congressional members to participate - not just the majority party.
Demand that all "special deals" agreed to for votes be immediately and forever blocked.

Americans, unless we rise up and take back our country and government now, there will not be a representative republic for us to cry out to in the New Year!!! Mark my words ... IF, the Obama/Reid/Pelosi healthcare reform bill is passed. The American free market system that has been established during these last 200 years will have been erased in less that one calendar year!!

The Government will control the banking industry.
The Government will control the auto industry.
The Government will control the energy industry.
The Government will control the environmental industry - and can therefore regulate manufacturing.
The Government will control education from kindergarten through college - by control of the teachers unions.
The Government will control the service unions.

and finally the Government will control the healthcare industry, and by extension can dictate the destruction of their greatest enemy,

the insurance industry.

This is what Obama/Reid/Pelosi and the rest of the Liberal Socialists want America to become! A Socialist state where an all-encompassing Government dictates what every citizen must do, must have, and must believe. They seek to create a Marxian "communism" here in our once free country. "From each according to their ability - to each according to their need!" is their most cherished goal for all of us.

Two Simple Problems Obama Can't Fix!!!

PROBLEMS.......Geez, do we have problems!

Two of them are particularly troubling to me.

One occurs overseas and the other occurs domestically.

Both of them have varied origins .... and are perpetuated and exacerbated by a number of issues.

Every day I get more frantic! I'm simply going out of my mind because, (at least for me), the answers to these problems appear to be pretty "basic." The solutions come from where all good solutions come from..... our past - and from our parents.

When I was growing up my teachers always taught us, "Those who don't learn from the past, are destined to repeat it." Which brings me to our first problem. Did any of you know that we spend $180 million dollars a day fighting the war in Afghanistan? Why? Well, primarily it's because we place so many "restrictions" on our military in carrying out the war. And any restrictions we don't place on ourselves, we allow other countries and organizations to place on us. That's just another way of me saying, we spend almost $200 million a day KNOWINGLY fighting with one of our arms tied behind our backs. Simply put - we're fighting a "limited" war. It's like we're trying to make this a "fair" fight!

There are two additional associated "anti-strategies," which make this problem all the more ridiculous! On the one hand we "telegraph" all of our next strategies to the enemy every night on the local news broadcasts; while at the very same time we DISALLOW our various Special Forces Groups the ability to operate clandestinely & unfettered in the war zone - and do what they do best - kill and demoralize the enemy by all means possible and available to them, and to gather all necessary intelligence.

I wonder how many of you realize that by fighting a limited war, we actually help the enemy beat us, and in the process kill our own soldiers? Did you catch that? I wonder how many of you truly understand that by fighting a "limited" war, we actually help the enemy beat us, and in the process kill our own soldiers? Let me put it a different way - by allowing Congress and the Press the ability to approve or disapprove our military actions, we kill our own military personnel & children. How? Because we allow military strategy & action to be placed into the hands of politicians and news anchors rather than with military Generals. Is this the fair fight you wanted? America, do you understand how SPECTACULARLY stupid this strategy is???

WAR by its very nature was never intended to be fair or limited! I thought as a country we would have learned this after Viet Nam - You can't wage a limited war! Wars have never been fair - each side has always sought the greatest military edge in order to overwhelm and annihilate the enemy. War has always been brutal! BRUTAL - OVERWHELMING - ANNIHILATION. Three words that describe why wars are always a last resort! In the case of the United States, three words that Congress and the White House have forgotten.

Is there anyone out there in the "Neverland of Liberalism" who will have the 'cahones' to tell me, that if the United States and the Coalition of Countries had promulgated the GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM using withering, brutal force against the enemy, we wouldn't have WON this war years ago???

And here we are....years later and many thousands of beautiful, young lives later, waiting for an inexperienced ultra-liberal college professor to decide whether he's going to listen to the combat staffing recommendations of the agreed upon "expert" in the field, General McCrystal .... or whether he's going to listen to the military geniuses named "Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, and Schumer!"

I can't say our second problem is easy in comparison to the first, but at least nobody is "shooting" at us yet!

Growing up in my family, my parents always got a chuckle out of people "spending over their heads," because Mom & Dad rarely did!! They were scared as hell to owe anybody anything! "You save until you have the money and then you buy! The time saving will also show you if you really need what you're planning to buy!" It always sounded like pretty solid advice to me growing up - and only once or twice did I go against the logic, and ALWAYS when I did, it cost me big time!!! So naturally, my kids got the same indoctrination - and naturally, both of them went against the logic once or twice - and naturally it cost them big time as well - but here we're only talking a couple of thousand dollars! Sure they were expensive lessons for children to learn .... but happily the family survived the learning process!

I don't know if our country is going to survive the spending and taxing that's already gone on in 9 months of the Obama Administration taking office. Or if any of us are going to survive the taxing that's going to be coming our way once all of his "spread MY wealth" programs take effect in 2012 or 2013!!

In the years of my lifetime that made up the "B.O. Era," (that's the Before Obama Era. Roughly the years from 1951 through 2008), when you heard the term "billions" it was a rare experience. (In all honesty I think the first time I became acutely aware of the term was when I heard that Microsoft Guru, Bill Gates was worth over a billion dollars some years back.) But not anymore! Spending billions has become the "mark" of this administration. To listen to news accounts, unless we're spending hundreds of billions to solve one problem or another in Obama's list of "must do - right now," it isn't even news-worthy!

Check this out.....just six months into his already QUADRUPLE-SIZED White House Administration.....Obama's HAD TO HAVE ..... a) a $787,000,000,000 Stimulus Bill (Laden with pork, but guaranteed to hold unemployment to less than 8%) and b) a $410,000,000,000 omnibus spending bill. On top of that he has c) an additional $645,000,000,000 in cap-and-trade energy taxes waiting to be approved by Congress and now he SIMPLY HAS TO HAVE d) a healthcare reform bill that his own Office of Management and Budget has forecast will cost way more than $1 TRILLION in its first 10 years of operation.

And the beautiful part of Obama's strategy ....... two key things.

1) After spending ALL OUR MONEY on his socialist healthcare scheme - 25 MILLION people still won't be covered by the very healthcare plan that was designed and implemented to cover them! But Obama pleads he simply must have it - so let's spend what we already don't have!!!

2) And this is the brilliant part.........None of the overburdening tax problems will be implemented until 2012 or 2013! So socialist Obama will be able to get re-elected because his true-believers will not have been hit with the $4000 dollars in additional annual expenses the new healthcare plan will cost each family, (estimate from Congressional Budget Office); nor will they have been hit yet by the estimated $1800 dollars in additional annual taxes levied on each family because of the cap-and-trade energy plan Congress is getting ready to pass shortly, (estimate from Congressional Budget Office).

But I'm sure that every household in America has at least an additional $5800 that they'll be ecstatic to give our Savior (pardon me) President Barack Hussein Obama! WHY? Because he's bringing us "change and hope" and Chairman, (excuse me) President Obama says we have to spend so others will have. And as as Vice Chairman (excuse me) Comrade.... (excuse me - I don't know what I was thinking) Vice - President Biden tells us, "It's time to be patriotic!" So, we'll all have to spread our wealth around like good little socialists (ummm) comrades (ummm) patriots!!!

Obama and the New Pair of Shoes.......

Let's say one of your children needs a new pair of shoes for school, or perhaps a new pair of sneakers. What's that cost - $75 maybe $100 bucks?? Would you go out and buy them a fully furnished house or condo??? You wouldn't????

Then why are "We The People" allowing President Obama and Congress to completely throw out the best healthcare system in the world...in order to provide benefits for a little less than 4% of the American population?????

In 10 years Obama's healthcare will cost YOU taxpayers very nearly $1 TRILLION dollars ... while saving only an estimated $81 BILLION, BUT still leaving over 25 million Americans UNINSURED!
(Wasn't uninsured Americans the problem Obama promised to fix in the first place???)

If you fix only the part of our healthcare system that's broken - you know, covering those Americans that don't have health care - It's going to be much cheaper and ALL AMERICANS win ..... and you're still the Hero!!!

a) is to reduce military spending;

b) to reduce or eliminate missile defenses for our allies in Europe;

c) halt the upgrade to North American Missile Defense installations

d) announce that they will negotiate without reservation with Iran & North Korea;

e) bestow constitutional & civil rights on terrorists and enemy combatants;
f) force American military personnel to "Mirandize" captured enemy combatants on the battlefield.

Does any of this make ANY kind of sense in the face of Islamic terrorists who have sworn to kill as many Americans as they can; deny that the "holocaust" ever took place and that Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth; or come to this country and lecture us about stopping our terrorist aggressions around the world?? And to make matters even more bizarre - these cretins get applauded for it in the United Nations! Does this make any sense at all???

And OUR President...... travels around and around the world..... on your and my tax dollars APOLOGIZING FOR AMERICA in EVERY speech he makes! Telling the rest of the world, that He's sorry for what America has done in the past....but He's going to fix it!!

Speaking for myself.... and with all due respect to OUR President ..... at BEST he has a childlike understanding of military strategy, threats and national security. His understanding of domestic protection and assessing the enemy are even worse! At WORST his idea of leadership during these perilous times is dangerously infantile!!!

In 9 months as President, Barack Hussein Obama's method of leadership on Foreign Relations can be summarized in two words ...... Apologize & Appease. (Perhaps the term "absence of leadership" would be more appropriate. Is there a single word that defines non-leadership? What's the opposite of leadership? You know, something "Carter-esque!") He appointed Hillary Clinton as His Secretary of State, but keeps her side-lined, favoring instead the use of "Czar's" and "Special Envoys" to deliver his apologies and diplomatic tummy rubs.

At a time where each passing day brings whack-job Ahmadinejad and the Iranian Ayatollah one day closer to unleashing a nuclear missile assault . . . . .Obama is rushing off with Michelle & Oprah to Denmark to champion Chicago's bid for the freaking Olympic Games!

In 9 months as Commander-In-Chief of the United States military - with thousands of young American men and women fighting in harms way - this "most brilliant of all Presidents" has met with his top commander in the field only ONE time - 1 time!! But he's got enough time to flit off to the "live XXX show" capital of the world to plead for votes for the Olympic Games.

How does Copenhagen "dovetail" with his Oath of Office? "Preserve, Protect and Champion the right of the most corrupt city in America to vie for the International Olympic Games, at a time when terrorists are actively trying to attack the American mainland and I've run the American economy into the ground single-handedly!" Geez, I don't seem to remember that.

Here's a historic analogy that might prove frighteningly prophetic!

This Week's amazing "Dumb Stuff"

This week we received word that the health care bill put together by Montana Senator Max Baucus, would cost another $829 BILLION over the next 10 years and would only "save" $81 BILLION over that same 10 year period. At the same time that the Congressional Budget Office put out this information they also noted that after that 10 year period (wait for it) ...... there would still be 25,000,000 Americans that would not be covered by health care!!

Wasn't the whole FUCKING purpose of rushing and pushing through universal healthcare IMMEDIATELY so that ALL Americans would then be covered by healthcare? I don't remember President Floppy Ear's saying he wanted to cover All Americans - except for 25 million!

Wasn't it the PROMISE from the Obama-nation Administration that America would only start to become a good & fair country AFTER EVERYBODY was covered by universal healthcare???? WELL WASN'T THAT THE BRILLIANT OBAMA PLAN???

So someone explain to me (because apparently I'm a MORON) how these JERK-Offs in Congress and the White House can expect you and me to allow them to spend ANOTHER $829 BILLION of (pardon me-again) MY FUCKING MONEY for a "product" that won't even accomplish what it was supposed to accomplish in another 10 years. Second "Dumb Stuff" occurrence of the week. President Barack Hussein Obama ("mmm-mmm-mmm!"), was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace. If you're an American college student reading this posting, all I ask is that you follow the logic of my statements, and think about what you are seeing happen to YOUR country.

Set aside for the moment, the promises you've heard. (Like when a boy whispers he loves you as he's slipping your clothes off!) Think about what you've seen happen in the last 8 months. Does all of it seem logical? Can 10% of the population really support the rest of the population for the rest of their lives? And what happens when you've taken away the wealth from "the wealthy?" Who's going to want to work - if you don't get to keep what you've worked for?

All I ask is that you think about this - and pass it along.

I'm just stunned....
The last eight months has simply stunned me.
I just can't believe that an American President could ever be this reckless....(I'm less surprised that the American Press would NOT report this recklessness - and at times even champions it! But that doesn't surprise me so much. They no longer report the news, they report what they want to be true.)
Nor can I believe that there are still Americans, who do not see the destructiveness and peril our President has placed our country in!

Make no mistake children - this dismantling of the structure of our Republic is NOT a game!

* This is not something that after burning it down, you can just return to your classrooms and everything will be alright!

* This is not some campus rally that you and your boy/girl friend can go to, deride the United States for an hour or two, burn a couple of flags, return to your dorm room and fuck a little, and everything will be OK!

* This is not the "flower power" hippie movement of the 60's your Mom & Dad told you about! You can't just "tune in, turn on and drop out" as Timothy Leary preached back then.

* You can't just turn this stuff off once you figure out your freedoms are gone and it ain't so great!

* Wasn't it Obama who taught you, "Words matter!" Well guess what...so do actions! And his actions are causing CONSEQUENCES!

* Regardless of what your college professors are telling you - you can't just "try" socialism for a while! And if these same Professors would be honest with you, socialism is NOT the UTOPIAN "masterpiece" they portray it to be. (Please don't believe them, but hey - don't believe me either - hell I'm 58 - just investigate Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, China, North Korea, and even the Social Democracies that have failed in the past... like my home country of Sweden).

There's a reason socialism and collectivism has failed every time it's been tried!!! Figure it out, you're smart!

Unfortunately for ALL OF US, the actions taken by the President of the United States during the last 8 months have already had monumental negative effects on our society.

How many of your parents, or neighbors parents have lost their jobs? Do any of you have any friends that couldn't return to school this fall semester because they couldn't afford it? I thought Obama said all these jobs were going to be created?

Well, just answer yourself this question, how do you gain jobs when your actions have closed down hundreds of banks, mortgage companies, and other financial institutions; caused builders to stop building homes and apartments; and closed down entire auto corporations and their dealerships? Does it seem logical that you'd gain jobs by doing these things?

And didn't The President promise us that if he got to spend his "Stimulus Bill" ($787 Billion dollars) unemployment would be held to below 8%?
So why is unemployment now at 9.5%?? And if you're gaining all these jobs & spending all this "stimulus" shouldn't unemployment be going down????

You could easily ask, "Where's the plan Stan?" The Beatles sang a song that said, "You say you want a revolution well ya know, we'd all like to see your plan." That's ALWAYS been the problem with "revolutionaries" like socialists, Marxists, Leninists, Communists, and all other "progressives" down through the decades...they NEVER, EVER have an actual plan! Oh they speak about "changing society and sharing with everyone"...which all sounds great! But they can never figure out how to do it! And Obama's no different! He's got all these great "cosmic" ideas...but the guy has never done anything! The most he's ever been able to do in Chicago is work at ways to take from one group and give it to another. That's NOT progress - that's tearing down what's existing and establishing another entitlement group!

One of President Obama's early and influential mentors was a community organizer in Chicago named Saul Alinsky. Alinsky dedicated his book "Rules for Radicals" to Lucifer. No shit, he dedicated his book to the Devil!!! Alinsky called Lucifer, "...the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment, and did it so effectively he at least won his own kingdom!" (Hard to argue with that logic, huh? Hell's gotta be some kind of paradise right!)

But Alinsky's logic models much of the way President Obama ran his campaign and has run the first 8 months of his Presidency. Alinsky said, "Radicals must have a degree of control over the flow of events." Whoa!, President Obama certainly learned this tactic.

He's controlled the media perfectly. He's moved so quickly and changed gears and directions so adroitly, that not even his own party can keep up with him, let alone the American people! Whenever someone tries to pin him down on an issue or concern, he simply moves to a different issue. He never answers questions or criticisms specifically - he merely holds another press conference changing the verbiage and thrust of his desires.

Think about this....in eight months have you heard a DEFINITIVE stance on any of his major campaign promises? Obama talks obliquely, because this allows him to always claim he was misunderstood. He knows that if he's too specific, he can get pinned down, and people will see through his charade. Then his bubble will burst. Oh yeah, President Obama is quite the expert dancer!

Alinsky also said, "The organizer's job is to get people pregnant with hope and a desire for change." Well, could there ever be a better description of Obama's entire candidacy, his campaign, or the first 8 months of his administration? My God - can you remember people on the campaign trail saying, "of course I'm going to vote for Obama! He's going to pay off my college loans, my car payment and my mortgage!" Or when asked why they were voting for Obama they actually said, "Well he's for hope and change." Man did he learn that lesson well!

Finally, the President has done nothing to dispel the belief that he will still do all these things! He continues to hold press conferences and "town halls" where he promises he's going to spread around the wealth of the "haves" to those that "have not." (Another "textbook" Alinsky tactic I might add. The creation of a struggle between the "haves" and the "have nots.")

DOES IT MATTER TO ANY OF YOU THAT OBAMA HAS BEEN PART OF THE "HAVES" MOST OF HIS LIFE?!!!

But you never hear him say how he's going to accomplish his goal! When he's pushed for specifics, he says he's going to have his "expert" give you the details shortly! He maintains his aura of "savior"... so he never has to deliver on any of his promises!

And because the Press simply slobbers over themselves trying to outdo one-another telling you what a wonderful savior Obama is .... he can keep waltzing through his Presidency saying, "Believe in me. Remember...hope & change. That's me. Just remember...hope & change!"

One of my hero's Ben Franklin said a long time ago, "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic!" With Obama, the masses think they have found a way to get something for nothing. They have found their golden goose. They have found the man who is going to "show them the money!" Obama has become Oprah giving away cars!

Unfortunately, you can't eat hope, and change ain't going to pay all these bills! And pretty soon the people are going to find out he can't make good on his promises. Oh, is there going to be hell to pay that day! From both sides.

The "Good" Senator.

I would like to add my condolences to the Kennedy family as they mourn the passing of one of their own.

For anyone under the age of 40, I'm certain that none of you ever knew or heard the actual "history" of Senator Ted Kennedy. I am certain none of your schools taught you the full truth about the man's history - or answered any questions about the incidents I'm going to describe. So after you read this posting, do a little research on your own, and then answer one simple question for yourselves.....

What would have happened to your mom or dad, your brothers and sisters, or yourself, had you been involved in any of the incidents I'm about to tell you?

In honesty, growing up in the 50's & 60's, learning about these incidents as they happened, and seeing how Ted Kennedy was treated, was the main reason I came to detest the Kennedy name & legacy so vehemently. As time has passed, there have been examples of other Kennedy family members, who have garnered "special treatment" only because their last name was Kennedy. It continues today - all you have to do is minimal "homework" to see the disparate treatment between how you would be treated and how Kennedy's ARE treated.

Suffice it to say that politically I did not agree with one thing Ted Kennedy stood for, or believed in. His politics were of ultra-liberalism, big government taxation and spending, and social welfare programs designed to enslave recipients for the sole purpose of garnering votes. (Perhaps this was his way to assuage some guilt he may have felt - but I doubt it!)

Ted Kennedy simply lived his life believing that there were "rules for Kennedy's" and "rules for everyone else."

Perhaps it wasn't entirely his fault - his father, Ambassador Joseph Kennedy Sr. certainly instilled that belief early on in his son's life. When Ted was caught cheating twice while at Harvard - once for cheating on a test himself, and once by having another student take his exam for him - the other student was immediately expelled, never to return. Teddy was quietly re-admitted after serving two year in the Army. But while 90% of all enlisted Army personnel and certainly most "privates" saw active duty in the bloody Korean war zone, Ted's daddy made sure his son served in that "hotbed of combat"...Paris, France!

While attending law school at the University of Virginia - Ted was sighted for reckless driving four times - yet never had his license revoked or suspended. In 1961, two years after passing the Massachusetts bar exam he was appointed Assistant to the District Attorney of Suffolk County, Mass. In 1962 as a 30 year old, he was elected to "the Kennedy seat" in the U.S. Senate, when his brother John gave up the seat to run for the Presidency. Ted has held and been re-elected to that seat ever since!

In July 1969, while attending a "reunion party" of his brother Robert's campaign workers on Chappaquiddick Island, Massachusetts, Ted (now 37), "borrowed" his chauffeur's keys "to offer a ride home" to Mary Jo Kopechne, a 28 year old campaign worker . Sometime between 11:15 PM and 1 AM the Oldsmobile registered to Kennedy drove off a bridge and landed up-side-down in a tidal pool. Kennedy, who admitted to driving the vehicle at the time of the accident, escaped the fully submerged vehicle and looked around for Ms. Kopechne. When she didn't answer his calls, he says he dove repeatedly to the vehicle but was unable to assist her, or even determine whether she was still in the vehicle.

Instead of calling for help at one

of four homes along the road to the bridge - (at least one of which was within 150 yards of the bridge, and according to the inquest had left their exterior lights on ), Ted walked back to the party and returned with two friends. They again dove on the vehicle but were unable to determine the state of Ms. Kopechne. Kennedy - claiming he was in shock and distraught - then says he swam across Edgartown channel and went back to his hotel room. He did not report the accident to authorities until the following morning. In fact, two fisherman reported the overturned car to the owners of the nearest house to the bridge and the inhabitants of the house called the police at 8:20 AM. A diver was immediately sent down and discovered Ms. Kopechne's body at 8:45AM. When the car was removed from the channel it was discovered that Ms. Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head before she perished. Can you simply imagine the terror and loneliness that poor woman felt before she drowned in Teddy's overturned car?

Ms. Kopechne's body was rushed out of Massachusetts and returned to her family. No autopsy was conducted. Ted Kennedy was never given a sobriety test. Seven days later at a hearing, Kennedy was allowed to plead guilty to "leaving the scene of an accident." He received a two month suspended sentence!! Kopechne's family received a small payout from the Kennedy's insurance policy, and never sued. There was later an effort to have her body exhumed and autopsied, but her family successfully fought against this in court, and Kennedy's family paid their attorney's bills.

This week as Senator Kennedy was remembered as someone who "never practiced petty politics" I nearly gagged!

How convenient it is for Liberals and the Press to forget that during the summer of 1987 while Judge Robert Bork was being considered for a position as a Supreme Court Justice, Ted Kennedy took to the Senate floor and delivered a tirade against the Judge - fashioned and calculated not only to end the Judge's nomination to the Supreme Court, but in large part to end the Judge's entire judicial career! Kennedy defamed Judge Bork by saying, "

Robert Bork’s America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit down at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens’ doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists would be censored at the whim of government, and the doors of the Federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens for whom the judiciary is often the only protector of the individual rights that are the heart of democracy." NONE OF WHICH WAS TRUE! But of course Ted got away with those lies because of Kennedy & senatorial privilege. And this was nothing new, Kennedy had maligned other Senators and opponents his career - whenever his cause was threatened, Kennedy reverted to character assassination & slander.

Sort of makes you wonder upon hearing other Senator's call Ted the "Lion of the Senate," whether that word is better spelled "Lyin'" instead?

In later years "the good Senator" was implicated in the rape case of his nephew in Palm Beach Florida. But don't believe me...Look up the William Kennedy Smith rape case.

So, young readers it is now up to you to decide whether Ted Kennedy should garner all the flag waving and tears you've seen in recent days? Make sure your research is complete and then decide. Perhaps for you, the fact that he is gone and part of an earlier generation will be enough for you to close his page of history.

But be careful, because it won't be that easy. In the coming week you are going to hear more Senators calling for Ted Kennedy's name to be used as part of the new government healthcare bill President Obama is trying to push through Congress! Wonderful! Another banner day for American myopia! The name of a man who caused the death of an innocent young woman is going to be memorialized on a bill that could alter this countries healthcare forever!!! My God America what are you doing????

Personally, I pray that Senator Kennedy - on the last day of his life - felt a little of the terror, pain and loneliness that Mary Jo Kopechne felt all those years ago as her life slipped away in that cold dark water off Chappaquiddick Island.

Congressional Benefit Plans - one way to force a change!

The more I think about something I said last week - the more I like it!
As a matter of fact I think it's one of the better ideas I've ever had! (Not conceit...well maybe just a little...but actually a pretty damn good idea!)

I think that all Americans should band together and gather petitions in every state and "hamlet" throughout this wonderful country! These petitions will have one purpose alone......

"We the undersigned do hereby DEMAND that all members of the United States Congress and their family members, as well as all members of the President's family, and all his appointees (including Cabinet members & special Czars) and their family members, be immediately transferred into the health care plans available to active duty military personnel and their families. In addition, NO ONE in the groups mentioned above will be allowed to "opt out" and purchase private insurance."

Of course there's a reason why healthcare benefits for Americans has always been such a hard problem to unravel....Congress and the President, (in fact all members of the Federal bureaucracy) don't have the same healthcare problems that most of us American citizens have!

They have quietly created for themselves and their families a separate and distinct "class" of citizenry. They are the "self promoted aristocracy" in this country. They make the rules for everyone else - but set themselves apart! Talk about absolute despotism and elitism - this is it!

Congress selects its benefits from a "menu" of more than 18 plans. From what I've been able to glean via the internet - Senators and Congressmen once elected, can basically stop worrying about any healthcare cost issues, for them and their families, for the rest of their lives!

And just to make you all a bit more angry...their pensions and retirement benefits are even more lucrative!

Why do you think that they fight so hard to get re-elected? The real "fleecing" of America is being done by the "grinning imbeciles" on Capitol Hill!!! (Think especially here of Pelosi, Schumer, Kerry, Frank & Dodd. Have you ever before seen five bigger grinning mental defectives in your entire life?? I take that back - I'm sorry, I apologize - that's overly offensive to people with mental impairments!)

Bottom line is, this ISN'T why we elected any of them - to feed off of us even AFTER they have left office!

So let's make an immediate change! Let's bring them all back to reality in a really big way. Let's require them to be covered by the same benefit plan they voted on which is currently in effect for all active duty military personnel and their families.

You want to see an upgrade to the military healthcare coverage's - this is the way to guarantee it happening very quickly!

The Big Liberal Fabrication and other plans.

Let's all think back to "the run-up" to the last Presidential Campaign.
It was during that period when most of us first heard, "we have to protect the 47 million Americans currently without healthcare!"
Remember the televised debate where they were all the libs standing around in a semi-circle behind podiums? You had Biden, Edwards. Clinton, Richardson, Obama and the rest of the Libs all falling over one another trying to invoke the "47 million uninsured Americans" creation the most number of times!

There was just one small problem with the number then - and one small problem with the number now.... it's a fabrication!
Let me make sure everyone, (especially all the Lib voters out there) heard what I said ... the claim used by Liberal politicians that there are 47,000,000 uninsured Americans... is a LIE!!!

What makes this lie so much worse is that the Libs knew that it was a fabrication then - and they kept right on using it! Throughout the campaign - on through the election night "promises" speech - the Inaugural "promises" speech - and straight up through this past weekend ... when "President Promises" held his contrived town-hall meetings - out again trots the "47,000,000 uninsured Americans "number! And every time "President Promises" entones that number in a room full of Liberals - the place goes crazy and liberal women are seen crying, rending garments and calling out Obama's name! It really is great theatre - but unfortunately that's all it is....theatre.

So let's once and for all have a simple summary of what the 47,000,000 uninsured Americans actually represents. (BTW - all these numbers come from the U.S. Census Bureau).

Let's start with 47,000,000 uninsured persons.
Well, first you have to subtract the number of "illegal aliens" currently in the United States. This number is somewhere between 9,000,000 and 20,000,000.... Leaving somewhere between 38,000,000 and 27,000,000 uninsured Americans. (Just taking a "cue" here from my President when he kept yelling "words count!" You can't say there are 47 million uninsured Americans, when 11 to 20 million of them aren't Americans - now can you Mr. President! And if you planned to include them all along why didn't you tell us during the campaign? Why did you need to hide it until now?)
Then there are the young adults - those 18 to 35 year olds who elect NOT to purchase health insurance because they use the money for other things - they consider themselves "bullet proof" They number an additional 18,000,000. Suddenly the number of uninsured Americans has tumbled all they way down to between 9,000,000 and 20,000,000 uninsured Americans!
I haven't even figured in the 14 million Americans already eligible to receive governmental benefits who elect not to do so, or the 9 million more that come from households making in excess of $75,000 annually, who are therefore easily able to buy private insurance.

Whoa! - something strange has just happened you might say! We've just "erased" the 47,000,000 million uninsured number! Well, that's neat but it's not my point. My point is that the number the libs made up during the campaign to act as a rallying point for their Socialized Medicine drive, is easily dispelled for the lie that it is. So don't let the liberal schmucks get away with lying - call them on it whenever you get the chance - now you have the facts!

But let's say for the sake of humanity and argument that there are 20,000,000 Americans who are without healthcare insurance. When we have reached a point in our development as a nation, that the federal government can mandate the issuance of $787 BILLION in a Stimulus Plan - you'd think that someone in Obamanation (or healthcare) could figure out a plan for and the cost of covering a measly 20 million fellow-countrymen!

Scrapping the entire U.S. Healthcare Industry for the rest of us 290,000,000 Americans!!!!!!
(BTW - 20 million uninsured Americans equals 6.5% of the entire American population of 310,000,000)

And while we have touched on the subject of there being 310 million Americans ..... here's another point to ponder. Whenever Libs talk about other countries with successful socialized medicine programs, they love to throw up the United Kingdom and Canada as examples. For me this seems to be a fairly laughable comparison if only from the standpoint that the two countries have between 1/10th and 1/5th the population of the United States. And even with only 61+ million citizens in England, and 33+ million citizens in Canada, the "horror stories" concerning "wait times" for treatment, and benefit denials to patients with certain types of cancer patients would seem to be a examples Liberals would want to cover up rather than bring out!

One more HOT item. As near as I can figure it - we will never get meaningful reform of anything until one thing happens - and here it is.

The crux of the liberal agenda

Last week I posted a blog about Obama's potential healthcare debacle entitled "Why not just fix the problem...that needs fixing...and leave the rest alone!!!!! Logical???" My premise was that rather than changing an entire healthcare system that is working marvelously well for nearly 300 million covered American citizens, why not instead have the government establish a program to cover the 25 to 45 million American citizens without healthcare coverage? (As a reminder, I noted in my posting that I have never had a problem granting healthcare coverage to American citizens without healthcare - but I vowed to forever oppose any plan that includes coverage for the nearly 20,000,000 ILLEGAL aliens now in our country.)

Well....I received a number of responses from liberals wondering why it was that conservatives always sought to deny benefits that they enjoyed to those less fortunate who needed them the most?

Talk about a load of prototypical Liberal horse shit! This is the same drivel I heard every liberal candidate espouse throughout the last campaign, and what Lord Obama has called for daily during the first 200 days of his administration. They make outlandish "blanket" statements with no facts to back them up - but knowing the Press will go along with anything they say - so they feel emboldened to continue lying to the American people. The consequence of which is that the vast majority of the American public gets fed a never ending meal of Liberal shit burgers!

(Oy, this makes my head hurt!) OK....One final time so even Liberals can understand. I am NOT looking to deny healthcare benefits to any legally qualified American citizen. But let's NOT mess up the greatest healthcare engine the world has ever known, in order to create coverage for something less than 14% of the American citizenry.

One respondent even chided me - asking why I was so adamantly opposed to covering needy people? He "supposed" I lived in a big house had done well in my career so that I could afford "giving" some more to those less fortunate! And there I realized - in his two statements - reside the crux of the liberal/socialist agenda for this country, and a glimpse of the future for any American citizen who had worked hard all of our lives and would at some point like to enjoy the "fruits of our labor." (Follow me now this is important)....my granting healthcare coverage to any eligible American citizen without healthcare, had morphed into my opposition to "cover needy people." His argument was that since I had worked hard and could afford it, I should be willing to give someone - anyone - healthcare if they were deemed "less fortunate!"

The end result is that the liberal socialist's want to give away the "fruits of our labors" that we have earned! And it isn't relegated to healthcare alone - if we let this healthcare fiasco proceed it will soon include anything we own - our purchased property - our savings and our investments - our pensions vehicles and our earned Social Security "promise" - ANYTHING we have earned that the socialist decides should go to those who didn't earn it. Oh, and that also includes the elimination of our freedoms - especially our freedom of speech.

Americans, this abhorrence can not stand!!! I cringe every time I think about Joe Biden's televised interview comments where he said spreading the wealth around was being patriotic! Or Barack Obama's televised speech where he unabashedly stated,

Obama-care brings out the "MOBSTERS" in conservative ranks!!!

So, today I heard that Barbara Boxer was upset that angry citizens were voicing their displeasure with Obama care, by yelling at their congressmen & senators during "town hall meetings" over the weekend. She was angry because these unruly mob members were "just like the well dressed Brooks Brothers" hoodlums she had been accosted by in 2000 down in Florida during the Bush/Gore recount!! She said (I think) to Chris Matthews that these outbursts had to be staged events because "real protesters would never be dressed that well." She ended her comments by saying that it was so sad "because this mob was obviously out to hurt our president!"

PUL-LEEEZZEE! What is he, made of glass? Id da poor widdle flopsy-mopsy pwedident scared because da nasty wasty republican citizens don't wike his SUCK-ASS healthcare bill?? TISK TISK TISK! Awwwww! TOUGH! KEEP YOUR GRUBBY SOCIALIST HANDS OFF OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM!!! (I would have thought a Saul Alinsky trained community organizer would have had more backbone than Barry's showing)

Side note: A reporter friend of mine at a New York paper called me early in the afternoon to tell me there had been a request made by either the White House Press Office or the Democratic National Committee, asking that anyone seeing a blog posting or an email regarding national healthcare that appeared "fishy or strange," to please contact the White House or DNC immediately. He said he was trying to confirm it's authenticity - I laughed my butt off! No sooner had I hung up the phone from him than Rush Limbaugh reported it... and later in the afternoon so did Sean Hannity! Wow! Are Rahm, Nicky & Barry getting a bit irked that people are actually questioning "the anointed ones " plans and ideas???? Gee.....I guess shit happens.

Later in the afternoon one of the news channels ran a montage of all the Democrat talking heads, each one using the same words...."Brooks Brothers mob," and "had to be staged by the republicans because all the angry protesters were so well dressed!" The best line came from a reporter who actually said, "I knew this all had to be staged by the republicans since everyone was so sharply dressed in pinks and limes!" (Where do they get these commentators from??)

Here's a flash for Mzzzz. Boxer...... I know this may be a foreign concept to you dear Babs, but some people actually have to go to town hall meetings during their work day. So they take a few hours off and wear the clothes they go to work in . This should actually scare you even more because it's an indication of just how many "white collar" citizens are actually livid about your socialist leader's wealth & health redistribution plans. And just so there's no question about how we feel....we're not going to stop screaming and raising a stink until all of you liberal socialists are soundly defeated!! Hugs & kisses from.....an angry mob member!

" Fact: Less than three weeks later Obama was forced to make a statement ending the ban on Lobbyists. Lobbyist now work in and consult with the Obama White House. (You think a Chicago-hack like Rahm Emanuel can exist without favors to and from Chicago/Illinois lobbyists?? PLEEEEZE!!!!)
Statement... The Stimulus Plan is necessary to insure that American Citizens don't loose their homes because they signed bad mortgages. Fact: The Stimulus Plan was used by banks to gobble up other banks! Does anyone reading this know of one person who received government stimulus dollars and avoided foreclosure?
Statement early this spring...Believe me, the last thing your government wants to do is own a car company! Fact: We now have a car company (Chevy, Cadillac) owned by the United States government, the Canadian government, and a health care fund of the UAW. (Can you believe it! The Union now owns part of the auto industry that they caused to go bankrupt with their unceasing wage & benefit demands! UNBELIEVABLE!)
Quote...."I have also pledged that health insurance reform will not add to our deficit over the next decade, and I mean it." Fact: The cost of Obama's socialized medicine program are so overwhelming that his own White House Budget Director and the Congressional Budget Office indicate that only accounting "gimmicks" "can mask the true burdens on the deficit!"

So let me pose to you readers a question.....He's taken over banks and insurance companies...much to the glee of Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Chuck Shumer....He's fired the CEO of a private company.... in little-more than 200 days he's spent more money than all of the previous American Presidents COMBINED.... he's lied to all of you from the time before he was a candidate ..... He has never run anything in his life, but now he wants you to "trust him" as he dismantles the health care program that every other country in the world is envious of.

Do you really want to place your TRUST, your health, and the health of your children and grandchildren into the hands of a person who lies to you every day....and into the hands of a government that has failed running social security - failed running Medicare and Medicaid - failed running the Postal Service - for all intents-and-purposes failed at keeping its promises to you during your work life???? Huh? Well, do ya??
Do you now want this administration to be responsible for establishing how and to what extent health care for you and your loved ones is granted???
Do you want this administration who tells you it's your patriotic duty to "spread your wealth around" to take more of your savings and choose what kind of health care you and your family receive???

If you don't like being lied to by a President who has demonstrably changed our country in little more than 200 days ...... If you don't want to continue being abused and walked-over by an administration who sees you and your family as "government property" .... you better take action NOW. Call your Senators and Congressmen and tell them you expect them to vote against socialized healthcare of any kind. Tell them that unless they follow your orders - you'll join with hundreds of others calling for their immediate "recall!"

Chilling final thought: once Obamacare In ANY FORM is passed, Liberals will gain another 20 million votes. They will be unstoppable for the next 2 generations! Why? Because ILLEGAL ALIENS are part of the group Obama wants covered by his health care program!!

Since Franklin Delano Roosevelt's administration - the Liberals have been trying to make socialized medicine a reality here in the U.S. That's right - learn a little history on a Sunday evening...since 1933 when FDR was first sworn in as our 33rd President, liberals have been trying to control the medical industry in this country. Even back in old FDR's time, Liberals knew that making healthcare "an entitlement" would virtually guarantee Democratic electoral success.

But even with all their conniving, conservative republicans stood in their way - assuring that our free market system was protected. You'd think that after all this time Liberal Democrats would understand that the American People aren't willing to RUIN the best medical care system in the world - in order for the Democrats to garner another 5 - 15 million votes!! (And don't let anyone tell you this is about anything other than VOTES! )

Which brings me to my point - Why not just fix the problem...that needs fixing?
During the last 10 or 12 years all I've heard from Ted (vehicular homicide - hic!) Kennedy, the Clintons, Pelosi, Reed, Shumer, and Obama, is that there are 45 million Americans without healthcare. That we have to cover these 45,000,000 Americans or else we're just a country of cold-hearted, uncaring, rich conservative bigots!

OK - well, why don't we just fix the problem that needs fixing. For the sake of showing "humanity" to those less fortunate than ourselves, let's agree to "cover" all those legally eligible with healthcare benefits.

First however, we have to look at that number the libs always throw around...Forty-five million Americans. Unfortunately that number includes between 12 and 20 million illegal aliens the liberals want to cover for free healthcare. (Why? see paragraph 2) Even for the sake of this exercise I will never agree to covering people in this country illegally....that's just never going to fly.... so lets just subtract out fifteen million illegal aliens. That leaves us with 30,000,000 people needing healthcare benefits.

OK. So where are we going to find the $$$$ necessary to cover 30,000,000 people ????????????
Well if you listen to the Socialist in the White House - we have to scrap our entire nation-wide healthcare and medical system in order to accomplish this! And because the "Obama Press & Media core" fails to report this news, all Americans are left to believe that the only way to provide these poor unfortunates healthcare ... is if we all give up our current healthcare programs and the Government takes over the health care system - to the tune of more than $1 trillion dollars in additional spending!

Here's just this stupid, ignorant, American's solution to this "national emergency"....... why don't we just fix the problem that needs fixing? Instead of ruining the entire medical/healthcare system for all 300 million Americans, why not find out how much and how to cover 30 million Americans without healthcare? That has to be a lot easier and a lot less expensive. AND - I BET THE CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE COULD EVEN COME UP WITH HOW TO GET THE MONEY FAST & EASY - didn't they come up with how to get the $787,000,000,000 billion dollar stimulus money in about 36 hours?

Maybe it's just me, but isn't it smarter & easier to fix the smaller problem instead of struggling to not FUBAR the whole healthcare system of an entire nation? Really - are these questions really so hard for you politicians to answer?

I'm writing this in the hopes that just one citizen under the age of 40 will get to read it, think a little about what I'm saying, and change their stance on socialized medicine. I'm angry, no, I'm flat out pissed that MY country has come to this in a little more than 6 months having a Socialist in the White House. Some of you may find it hard to read - believe me it wasn't easy to write - in six months I've watched MY country changed immeasurably...and there is seemingly no end in sight with the Socialists!!
I would like all Obama supporters to read it - (Not that I think my simple words could ever break the trance Svengali with the floppy ears has on you) - But I doubt you will.

I really DON'T want folks beyond 40 years old to read it. We're done - mark my words. We're beyond help at this point. I see our aging and our accompanying decline in health, and our future "care" choices and inevitable "ends" pretty clearly. It ain't pretty, but it's what the Socialist in the White House and his cronies wants. For those of you who are in the same boat as I am - beyond the age of 50 - you only have to look as far away as Canada, England, and Sweden to see the train coming down the tracks at us. Unless you are independently wealthy, I'm afraid we're facing a "degrading" old age if Obama and the Liberals get their way. As we saw this past week, we will be dismissively told to go home and take a pain killer. Or, we will be informed by a government appointed local health care board, that our cancer, our kidney or liver illness, our Alzheimer's, our rheumatoid arthritis and even our cardiac disease, is too far along ... and the board has reached the decision that the operation our physician told us about, or that new drug that's been so remarkably effective in trials, is just too expensive to be used in our case. Mark my words, it's coming!

For those of you under the age of 40, who are watching your parents age, and were hoping that you'd have them around for many years to come, don't count on it! You're going to have to fight with local health care boards in order to get yourself in to see a Doctor or a Specialist of any kind! Will you really want to upset the local health care board members by fighting over whether your 70 or 80 or 90 year old mother with liver disease should receive coverage? Or will you opt to get their "benevolence" when you, your spouse, or your child needs it? (See how the Socialist pits us against each other? Even when we already have the best health care system in the world?)

'Cause that's what's coming in the Obama / Kennedy Socialized Health care era! But don't believe me. Do your own research on the internet. Obama and his henchmen call it "universal health care," BULLSHIT! At best it will be "care rationing"! At worst...God I don't even want to think about it. It's taking what "little" your parents worked hard for all their lives and were promised by the Government - and giving it away to others who didn't work for it, as another social entitlement program. What Joe Biden called "being Patriotic, spreading the wealth around!" And at least in the case of EVERY ILLEGAL ALIEN who will be covered by this plan, it's taking a day of health and perhaps life away from a middle age, retirement age, or elderly American citizen who earned it. PERHAPS TAKING IT AWAY FROM YOUR PARENTS!!!! Isn't that great?

And the reason the Liberal Socialists are doing this???? The reason the Socialists are willing to take the single best health care system in the world and ruin it??? It's not because of altruism no matter how many times they say it is! They're lying to us all! It's for the worst, most cynical of all reasons. THEY'RE DOING IT FOR THE VOTES. They know that every person who gets on this newest "gravy train" will mean another liberal voter.

So the next time you listen to some of your young friends tell people how great it will be when everyone has the same healthcare, I hope you have the "balls" to stand up and give them these 3 examples of how great socialized healthcare is. THINK OF YOUR PARENTS and then tell them. KNOW that there are people living / dying in Canada and the UK, who are being told tonight by their local health care boards that their breast cancer or stomach cancer is too advanced - and the new drug therapy won't be approved for them! KNOW that there are people in the UK who had to wait 6 months to see a specialist, at which point their disease was so advanced the treatment came too late! KNOW that there are people in England who waited 5 years to have a test run to confirm their Doctor's diagnosis before treatment could be approved and received!!

Finally, would somebody please ask the Socialist in the White House if Michelle's mom is going to be covered the same way as all of the rest of us are, or is she going to get special treatment? I know I was never able to cover my parents! Is she some special case?

How come all American citizens can't be covered by the same benefit package that Congressmen and Senators are covered by? They work in government for 10 years and are covered not only be an incredible health care plan for the rest of their lives but they also have an incredible pension plan!!! Why can't all of us who have worked for 40 or 50 years get the same coverage? At least we did what our bosses wanted us to - I never heard of a politician who did what his constituents wanted him to! Have you?

Here's something to look forward to if President Obama is successful in his socialization of our health care industry!!!
Imagine your wife or daughter has just received a diagnosis of breast cancer from her Doctor. (God forbid!!!)
(Breast cancer is diagnosed in over 200,000 women every year here in the United States!) Or perhaps someone you love has been diagnosed with kidney cancer.....

When you've finally begun to breathe again, and you're searching for the best and fastest possible "next step" to save your loved one ...... imagine that you're told by a governmental committee that you are not eligible to receive the latest and best drug to fight your disease!!!

RIDICULOUS you say??? Think again....

In Britain, they have a wonderful bunch of bureaucrats called the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (aka: National Institute for Curbing Expenditure). If you can believe it, the "acronym" for this affront to humanity is NICE. (Geez, can you believe it?) It is the charge of this committee to decide which patients, and which illnesses warrant expenditure for drugs and treatments - which drugs - in what dosages (or for how long) - OR - which patients/illnesses don't warrant expenditure. Within the last couple of years, NICE has decided that women with breast cancer SHOULDN'T receive the latest and best drug a)because it is too expensive or b) their cancer was too far advanced. The same position was taken concerning folks with kidney cancer - but this decision was turned around after an incredible public outcry. What makes this so crazy is that these drugs are widely used throughout other European countries - and even in other parts of the UK!

For me the UNBELIEVABLE fact is that somewhere...ANYWHERE in the world today .... there is a formal committee whose job it is to decide who warrants life and who warrants death!!! And if you think it can't happen here in the United States you are so sadly mistaken! We already have the FDA here in the United States - need I say more? We've proven mightily that we can institutionalize STUPIDITY better than most countries! Do we really want to re-test our failures deciding on peoples lives?

If that weren't reason enough to STOP socialized medicine, here's another.....
Yesterday or the day before, NY Congressman Charlie Rangel was making statements to the Press Corp. when he stated that Obama's proposed health care initiatives carry a price tag of an additional $600 BILLION dollars!!! When he was asked if the price tag might go higher he said it might exceed $ 1 TRILLION dollars!!!

Well, geez Louise! Where is all this money going to come from? Oh that's right - I get it. We can afford anything here in the United States as long as we can keep those Treasury Department printing presses going, or just keep raising taxes! WHEN ARE WE GOING TO WAKE UP ????

A couple of things.........

Why are you getting "ticked" at me for reporting numbers that all the major newspapers & broadcast news shows gleefully reported following the election?
Why are you angry with me for telling the truth about what the numbers from the election actually represented?
Please don't do what Libs always do and "misrepresent & shade" what I said, for your own liberal agenda...I did not say the Barack Obama had only 23% of the American people behind him, as you wrote. What I said in my blog post of June 9th was... "This means that only 23% of the American population VOTED for him." (meaning Obama). This is a totally accurate statement and I stand behind it!
Because I "gradutated" 4th grade arithmetic class .... I know that 100% minus 23% STILL LEAVES you with 77%. (even in this Obama driven, "make every number say what you need it to say "era).
And 77% is STILL the percentage of the American population that DID NOT vote for President Obama on Election Day last year!!!!! It will remain an accurate number XXXX....no matter how Liberals try to rewrite history.

Finally.....Thank you for imploring me to GET A LIFE (your font size and colorization). I have a life my friend - and it appears an increasing part of it will need to be spent CLARIFYING the lies & obfuscations the Obama administration is trying to slip by the American people!

More Obama Ignorance and anti-Americanism

Well, today I heard something I never thought I'd hear .
For me it's just one more example of Obama's STUPIDITY and complete disregard for what the AMERICAN CITIZEN wants. (Always remember 77% of the American population DID NOT vote for this........gentleman.)

One of this countries great patriots - a member of Congress and one of the key members of the Foreign Intelligence Committee, was recently on a scheduled intelligence trip to Afghanistan. His job on the trip was to make sure our American fighting men & women as well as our intelligence operatives in the war zones (FBI/CIA) had everything they needed to "get the job done."

Imagine his surprise when he was told by a number of Intelligence (CIA & FBI) operatives, that they had been instructed by their superiors that all enemy captives were to be "Marandized" before any interrogations could be undertaken. This "policy/order" was later confirmed by US Military Commanders in the area. Both the military personnel as well as the intelligence operatives indicated that this "policy" came down from Washington "very quietly."

So, let me set the table for you here.......there's only one or two offices that have the power and/or ability to order this action and have it "stick" in a theater of war. It's either President Barack Obama as the Commander-In-Chief of the military and leader of the intelligence agencies as well - OR - The Attorney General, Eric Holder acting on the direction of the President. There's simply no other authority that could have ordered this action and have it followed so quickly and quietly.

And what has transpired here, behind the backs of every American citizen, against the better judgment of every American Military Commander and Intelligence Special Agent, is the granting of UNITED STATES CIVIL RIGHTS to non-American enemy combatants. Basically - either Barack Obama or Eric Holder, have by their actions, notified Osama Bin Laden that he now has the same rights if he were to turn himself in, as any American citizen has when being detained and questioned by police. He has the right to remain silent, the right to an attorney, and the right to a trial by his peers.

Obama or Holder have turned the War on Terrorism which began on September 11th. 2001, into an issue of civil rights and criminal prosecution! They have given all enemy combatants the same rights to defense attorneys and American Jurist Prudence as you or I have if we need to go to court. They have bestowed upon people sworn to kill all Americans - the same LEGAL rights as American citizens have.

And they did all this without the approval of the American people. They did this surreptitiously - hoping that they wouldn't be found out!

But as I write this post I realize something else ....... Barack Obama has always wanted to give medical benefits and citizenship to the 20 million illegal aliens who have broken our laws and invaded our country, so I shouldn't be surprised that he would dictate such a policy now in Afghanistan. And Eric Holder is the Attorney General who freed the Puerto Rican Terrorists - members of FALN - that blew up Fraunces Tavern in Manhattan in January 1975, killing 4 and injuring 50.

Why should I be surprised that the President or his Attorney General would grant US Civil Rights to islamo-fascists bent on killing American soldiers??? He's just doing what he's been doing all of his life.

Two problems: Our New Computer & the New United States

Some of you know that I had been "nursing" our old computer through the last couple years of its life....
I had purchased it in 1999, when a Intel Pentium III 866 MHz. processor was considered "pretty snappy!"

Over the years I needed to increase the memory, upgrade the operating system - twice, replace and upgrade the internal HDD, add an external HDD for even more storage, and upgrade the BIOS a couple of times. Believe me, I'm an idiot - so the fact that I could actually manage these changes without blowing out the local electrical grid or the computer - tells me that ANYONE can fiddle around inside a computer successfully.

A month or so ago, the old system really started ......"wheezing." After maybe 10 "Lord, hear our prayer moments," it was time to "bi-te zed bul-let" and actually buy another PC. (Buying it was actually the fun part.... in that our daughter bought it for us!!!!) But what nobody ever tells you ... is that getting files and settings and programs and "stuff" from one system to another is excruciatingly un-nerving, difficult and time consuming. As I'm typing this "the old system" is sitting right behind my left shoulder, plugged in & waiting.......just waiting for that inevitable....."AH SHIT" moment that's bound to come when I realize I've done something horribly damaging to the new system!

At this point I don't smell any burning electrical wires .... and it appears, I'm still typing in English instead of Swahili, so I figure I've transferred enough of my old stuff to the new box - and I should get back to productivity! For now at least, it seems I can forget about problem 1 and focus on problem 2.

"Aw geez," as Archie used to say... Problem 2 really hurts!!! Mentally, emotionally, physically, FINANCIALLY... Problem #2 - IS the 800 pound gorilla every "devout American" should be concerned about these days. And I believe "devout" is the proper "descriptor" to use as well. Devout, means deeply religious. We've all known exceptionally religious people in our lives. People who believe so deeply in their religion, that they serve their God happily and without reservation.

For me, patriotism and national pride have always been a "devotion." A feeling to be reveled in and warmly embraced! Our symbol, the flag, "Old Glory" and everything those stars and stripes stand for. "The United States of America," the country, its people, its ideals, and everything it has achieved and GIVEN to the rest of the world since 1776. Even the wars we have fought through - but perhaps especially our own Civil War - a war so costly, that so nearly tore us apart, but inevitably binds us more strongly together.

All of this and more is the basis of my devotion! Our freedoms, our liberties, our rights as Americans - all paid for with precious American blood, here and in hundreds of other places around the globe. Since our Founding Fathers called upon their Creator at every step when forming this country, I think God will understand when I use the term "devout" to describe a strong form of patriotism.

Unfortunately, devotion to America .... asking God to Bless America, or even showing support for the principle tenets by which The Constitution established us, is very unpopular these days. I kept my mouth shut since November 2nd., and watched as all the right words were spoken that day and on subsequent days. But I've watched and I've seen in the intervening 8 months, not the deliberate, cleverly cloaked changes I expected - but lightning fast obliterations to American enterprises, industries, personal liberties, and even to some Constitutionally guaranteed protections & provisions!!

Mark my next words very carefully.........

The actions the Obama administration (and the Congressional leadership) have perpetrated against the Constitution and the American people since January 20, 2009, have placed this country perilously close to changing our form of government from a representative republic to AT BEST a social democracy. With assistance from a complicit Press, the Obama administration is close to reversing - in less than one year - what our forefathers, our fathers, our sons, daughters and neighbors have fought and died for during the previous 200. He has been deified in the Press and by the Left, and his every action weakens our Country and emboldens our enemies.

So, what should devoted Americans do at this point?

First of all let's remember how President Obama got to the White House. I know your Liberal Democratic friends would rather you didn't understand this, but it's VERY important. Barack Hussein Obama became the President of The United States of America, with 69.5 million "popular votes." This means that only 23% of the entire American population voted for him. His opponent received about 60 million popular votes, about 19.8% of the population. Understand what that means ....

Barack Hussein Obama DID NOT receive the support of 77% of the American population during the last election.

For all DEVOTED Americans, this means that less than 25% of the voting public gave President Obama what he considers his mandate to change our form of government into something more than three quarters of the population DIDN'T vote for!!!

I know I would never agree to live under a Social Democracy! It's failed everywhere it's been tried. And I'll be damned if I'd ever agree to have the United States governed by Socialism. But that's where we're headed if we all don't wake up.

There is one saving grace - and it's US! Obama, his Congress, his Unions, his Press and his 70 million popular votes DO NOT outweigh the 233,000,000 devout Americans who comprise the rest of America - the BEST part of America! It's time for "We The People" to understand that we are STILL in the MAJORITY here in the United States! MOBILIZE people - tell your Congressmen and Senators and Governors that you will not stand for Socialism in the United States of America! Speak out!
Don't let Liberals spew their lies without challenging them! Know your facts and tell anyone who will listen.

Return with me for a moment to July 2008.........here we have future First Lady Michelle Obama on the campaign trail at an event in Pontiac, Michigan "scoffing" at the George W. Bush $600 tax cut.

"You're getting $600 - what can you do with that? Not to be ungrateful or anything, but maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn't pay down every bill every month," she said. "The short-term quick fix kinda stuff sounds good, and it may even feel good that first month when you get that check, and then you go out and you buy a pair of earrings." - Michelle Obama

Fast forward to early February 2009..........Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America. Michelle Obama is ensconced in the White House as Our Nation's First Lady - and the new President has just signed his first bill into law....a $787 Billion Dollar STIMULUS package.

Based largely on Election Day support from young liberal voters, African American and Latino households looking for a "change they can believe in," Barack Obama was swept into the Presidency promising to cut taxes of 95% of the American People, while raising taxes on the rich! He has appeared on television more often initially than any other American President, touting his STIMULUS PLAN as having "NO PORK," and indicating that this is but the first step on the long road of national reconstruction. So let's look at what his $787 Billion, no pork plan is going to get the average American in TAX relief......

EFFECTIVE in June 2009, Americans will be getting a tax break amounting to $13.00 per week. In January 2010 the tax break will drop to $8.00 per week for the next 11 weeks!

WOW!! Now I can see why 68 million Americans voted for this guy! $13 bucks a week! Wow, I'll be able to pay off my mortgage and retire in no time!!

Madam First Lady,
No "scoffing" allowed now...but, when you wake up next to Our 44th President tomorrow morning,
ask him where he's hidden those $13.00 earrings he bought you with his tax cut dollars!! And how many bills are you going to pay down with what's left? Sorry....just checking....go back to sleep.

Tell Your Wife You're Saving Money!!!

I'll make this quick ... because I can't stand it anymore!

I want you to get in your car and leave the house for an hour at 1PM this afternoon. Tell your wife you have to run out for a few minutes there's something you simply have to do. (Don't worry she'll think it's a Valentines thing!)

Then, when you return, sit her down and happily explain that you've found the perfect classic car you've been searching for your whole life! It's a sky blue 1956 T-bird with wide whitewall tires. You found it with a private owner and have been negotiating a deal with him since yesterday. Here are the specifics......

at first, the owner told you he wanted $82,700.
but then he said he just had to put in a new Edelbrock super V-8 engine, and that raised the price to $90,800.
but since he liked you and he wanted "his baby" to go to a loving home he was going to part with her for $78,000! Just because he liked you!
THIS IS WHERE YOU POINT OUT TO YOUR WIFE THAT BECAUSE OF YOUR SHREWD NEGOTIATING SKILLS YOU ACTUALLY SAVED $4,700 OFF THE ORIGINAL PRICE, AND OVER $12,800 OFF THE FINAL PRICE WITH THE NEW ENGINE!!!!!!!!

Couple of things to remember.......

Before talking to your wife - make sure all the guns in the house are unloaded, and that all the knives are hidden.
DUCK!!!! Because she will find something to throw at you!
Change all the numbers in this column from thousands .....to BILLIONS of dollars. So that would make it.... $827,000,000,000.00 billion dollars for the House of Representatives Stimulus Bill. $908,000,000,000.00 for the first draft of the Senate Stimulus Bill. And $780,000,000,000.00 for the second draft of the Senate Stimulus Bill. (Look at all those pretty zero's!)

And just like the "idiot husbands" in my example ..... there are Republican and Liberal "schmucks" in Congress, going before television camera's trying to sell the American public that we're actually SAVING MONEY because we "cut" the Stimulus Plan to $780 BILLION dollars!!!!

That's $780,000,000,000.00 BILLION dollars !!!!!!!!

Let me give you that number "perspectively." Last week I told you that there are 1000 "millions" in a billion. OK? So let's pretend that each "chunk" of a million dollars is represented by one piece of 8.5" X 11" paper. So, 1000 pieces of paper would represent one billion dollars - got that? ...... In order to represent the amount of millions of dollars the Congress wants you and me to stimulate the government for you need 780,000 separate pieces of paper!!

Dear CONGRESS - Why not take a little while longer, and show the American Public LINE-BY-LINE what you're spending all this money on???? Or better yet, think about "how much money you're saving the tax payers" by NOT spending the money.

How about if"WE THE PEOPLE" grade you the Congress by how much STIMULUS money you DON'T spend???

Obama as Hypocrite!

I had to "check" myself before writing this piece. After all, the guy has only been President for two weeks....Geez, it seems so much longer with all the press conferences and television time he's getting!

Last week we all watched as newly sworn President Obama sat in front of yet another bank of video cameras and sternly chastised Wall Street for paying out bonuses to its top performers. Much like a parent severely scolding a bad child, Obama called their actions "shameful." He said there would be time enough for them to take bonuses - but this was not that time. (At a separate news conference, Vice President Joe Biden told his audience, he'd like to "throw those guys in the brig!" Coming from a guy who had more deferments than most small towns, I thought his "wording" kind of funny!)

So here we have the new American President - leader of the single greatest and most successful economic and industrial "engine" the world has ever known - publicly "spanking" the financial industry. Again, here we had a President of less than a month, in a country where most of, if not ALL of the technological advancements during the last hundred years originated....and here we have Our President, the guy who is supposed to be "our Champion" reprimanding an entire industry segment in front of the whole world, saying they could not reward their best performers!

What unmitigated gall the man has! What despicable insolence!! What unbridled HYPOCRISY!!!

Sir! You don't know "us" or the Office of President well enough to air our laundry in public the way you do!

Tell me Mr. President, with all due respect Sir, ....

Have you publicly chastised and ridiculed your friends in Hollywood like George Clooney and Denzel Washington for making billions of dollars during the recession? Have you verbally throttled all the Actors who support you for taking millions of dollars for each acting part in addition to 10% of the gross receipts??
Have you reprimanded your stalwart comrades in the Rap & Hip Hop industry, like P. Ditty, and Ludicris, for the billions of dollars they make each year with their hate speech and anti-white message ?
Have you ordered the return of the billions of dollars made by your good friends Oprah (hallowed be her name) and Dave Letterman, as well as Jon Stewart, Chris Matthews, Bill Maher, or Keith Olbermann? Surely you must have mentioned how unconscionable their annual earnings are and how they should give it all back!

I wonder SIR, why is your anger not universal? Why is it directed toward Wall Street, but not toward Hollywood or the Press? Why do you single out successful conservatives, but do not scorn with the same shame George Soros - a man who openly tries to destroy the American two-party system?

Please Mr. President....learn from some of your own words. You are better than that! Where is the Barack Obama who said he would be non-partisan???

What were Speaker Nancy's words again? Oh that's right, You won! We should get over it! And forget all your promises.

So you really are no different. Just another Liberal Hypocrite.

Five Points to Ponder.....

* This past Sunday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on ABC's 'This Week' with George Stephanopoulos. During her interview Madam Pelosi indicated that there would be "millions of dollars" from the Obama Stimulus Package specifically targeted toward "family planning services." (i.e.: Planned Parenthood) So shocked was Stephanopoulos when he heard this, that he repeated his question and asked Speaker Pelosi if she'd like to adjust her statement. Pelosi said no.

Make no mistake America, the Liberal Congress is now voting to use our tax dollars to fund killing babies! Perhaps we shouldn't be shocked by such an obvious admission by the ultra-liberal Speaker. President Obama championed identical beliefs during the campaign at a town hall meeting in Johnstown. Pa. last year. That day Obama said he wouldn't want either of his daughters "punished with a baby" if she made a mistake. (This speaks volumes to what awaits us during the next 4 years!)

** With everyone focused on the economy, you can't go a day without someone in Washington saying, the financial security of this country depends on the Obama administration solving our economic problems immediately!! Nationwide it seems that the economy and our future financial security has become "job one" as Ford used to say.

Really?? It's that important???

That explains why we're now entrusting this MONUMENTALLY important issue to a guy who's been caught cheating on his income tax - not once - but for four separate years!! And when caught, he only paid off the tax and penalty for two of those years, because that's all the IRS asked him to pay.......... And Obama tells us, there's not one other person as qualified to do the job as this cheater Geitner is!! (Oh, we're in deep shit on so many levels!)

*** This week The President announced the closing of Guantanimo Bay Terrorist Detention Center in Cuba. He did so without a plan as to where the 256 murdering terrorist bastards are going to go. (sorry about my language - NOT!) While thinking about this, I realized that the French - a people with which I hold very little in common - have a wonderful word for where I'd recommend we place these scum. The word is "oubliette" from the French root "oublier." The literal translation of oubliette is "a place of forgetting." Most often in literature it is a small utterly dark shelf in a long steeply sloping tunnel leading to the sea ... or worse. Once placed there, the incarcerated would be forgotten by their captors. And those forgotten could choose to throw themselves off the shelf without knowing what awaited them below. (God, that's such a nice thought to have about terrorists!)

I suggest an oubliette plateau of some size in an ice cave somewhere in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. We can't drill and use our own oil from there - so maybe this is a way that we can utilize this territory effectively! I'll volunteer to scout out a suitable location, and I'll even arrange for transport. But we must act quickly.

And here's a strong PS on this one ..... Yemen has voiced "willingness" to accept the terrorist prisoners from Cuba. Yeah, I don't think so...especially after we released that one sand-flea from Guantanamo back to Yemen, and he's now the Number 2 guy in Al Quida there. And isn't Yemen where we lost 17 brave US sailors aboard the USS Cole?? Yeah, me thinks this is a pretty STUPID idea! Oubliette ANWR is the way to go!!!!

As of last week, President Obama had appointed 4 "CZARS" to head various government agencies in his administration.Now where have I heard that word before?? (What do Psychologists call it when someone inadvertently lets something slip that they actually want to hide???) I don't know....what do you think Comrades?

***** Here's a final chilling FACT - Sometime during the late '50's, my ancestral homeland of Sweden elected the Social Democrats to power. (I can remember my Dad crying that day as he read the Swedish paper).

Stimulus Spending - Tried & Failed! - Are we mindless sheep?

Folks -

I need you all to understand this, and then call or write your Congressmen and Senators and demand they listen to reason! The concept is really simple to "grasp" once you've gone back and reviewed recent history. There's no need to go back and reinvent the wheel. The answers are right here with us - on the other side of the world.

SPENDING your way out of a recessionary period has already been tried. It failed - quite miserably.

It failed 10 times in recent Japanese history when the government tried to "spend" its way to re-stimulating the Japanese economy.** 10 times!!! The Japanese bought into Keynesian (monetarist) economics which dictates that spending during a recessionary period must be increased for prosperity to continue. (This is an overly simplified explanation - but any economist telling the truth will tell you that it's pretty much "dead nuts" on target.) What happened was that the Japanese government spent the country into unimaginable debt! When it didn't work the first time, they tried it a second time and spent more - and so on. A level of debt that the Japanese people are still carrying on their over-taxed backs! Does this sound familiar?

Ya know, when I was a boy and you heard people talk about a million bucks, that seemed like all the money in the world to me! Boy-did I want to have a million bucks! And just so you can all "conceptualize" what we're talking about - there are a thousand millions in just one billion.
Want to have some fun - write $1,000,000 at the top of a sheet of paper. Now immediately under that write $1,000,000 again. And immediately under that, write $1,000,000 again. Do this successively on 1000 lines - one right below the other. Just 997 times more. How long did it take you? When you're finished, that'll be just one billion.

This week I listened to our newly sworn President call for the "speedy approval of the $870 BILLION stimulus package."

Which means if you want to continue my experiment...you only have to continue writing $1,000,000 below itself 869 THOUSAND more times.

Stimulus - spending - just - spends. Eventually when you've bought something, you have to pay for it. And when you don't have the money to begin with, spending just increases your debt! It doesn't matter if you're an individual, or a country. If you don't have the money to buy something........you can't afford it!!!!!

I know this next statement might come as a shock to the 63+ million Americans who voted for President Obama... BUT.... Not even President Barack Obama can spend the country out of debt, or pay your mortgage, your student loan, or make your car payments! It just doesn't work that way. Do we really have the arrogance to think that simply because President Obama wants it to happen, that The United States will be able to reverse proven economic reality?

It doesn't work people.

WHY ARE THE REMAINING 237 MILLION AMERICAN PEOPLE ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN???

Pray for Israel!!

I'm afraid for all of my friends in Israel.

I say a prayer each night for Jews in that small country at the far end of the Med - surrounded by fanatical terrorists who have pledged to exterminate them.

I place my faith and trust in the strength and resolve of the Israeli military and the Israeli people - - many of whom will I fear, continue to die in order to protect themselves and their families against renegade Islamic and Arab terrorists.

With everyone here in the U.S. holding their breath awaiting the historic inauguration of America's first black President, nobody seems to realize that 2009 could mark the beginning of the end of the Jewish State of Israel! Why? I'll answer this way....Two weeks ago I watched a televised account of New York JEWS protesting Israel's bombing of Hamas targets in Gaza. Here were a group of American Jews supporting Hamas/Palestinian protesters outside the United Nations. Look at it a different way.......

Here were Jews
supporting a group of Arab/Islamic terrorists
dedicating to killing Jews!!

Nuts enough for you?

What many Americans - and I ESPECIALLY include ALL JEWISH Americans in this group - fail to understand about "the changing of the guard" down in Washington, is this. President elect Barack Obama has PLEDGED to cut the U.S. military budget. He has also pledged to support aid to less fortunate countries around the world. But, he has NEVER made a clear concise declaration about continuing Israeli military aid. A betting person might deduce that the "changing of the guard" for Israel in all probability means some change to the amount of military aid Washington will send to Israel. For me, this "undeclared declaration" SCREAMS that Israel is on its own in its fight for survival.

My reasoning? Well, ya see, President elect Obama believes that with his smile and his presence, he can foster immediate communications and trustworthy negotiations between Israel and those who want to kill Israeli's. It's true! Barack Obama believes he can "talk" Islamic and Arab homicide bombers into not wanting to kill Jews! I ask you, how egotistically ridiculous is that? At the very least his "notion" will allow Hamas to re-supply its cache of rockets in the Gaza. At the very worst.... well, I don't want to think about the very worst.

One thing's for certain, Benjamin Netanyahu's statement years ago is still 1000% true! He said......

"If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.
If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel."

Hmmmm. Let's think about that. Understand that in the last year - since Israel agreed to a cease-fire with Gaza and Lebanon - over 3000 Katyusha rockets - have rained down on Israeli women & children from Gaza! 3,000! Has the American Press reported the Arab/Islamic breaking of the ceasefire? Of course not. When Israel proved that the rockets were once again being smuggled into Gaza through more than 60 tunnels from suppliers in Egypt, did the U.N. act to condemn Hamas or Egypt? Certainly not! But when Israel said "ENOUGH" and bombed the Hamas rocket sites and strongholds - Dear Lord the U.S. & World Press couldn't condemn Israel fast enough for their "disproportionate response!!"

This is why I truly fear that without "a great cry" going up throughout the United States, Israel faces a very very tough 2009!!! Join me in a PRAYER FOR ISRAEL.

Throughout the election I continually wondered why certain topics NEVER got addressed. Seemed like neither Senator McCain nor Obama wanted anything to do with certain issues that really mattered. The best example I can give you is one that truly torks me off! ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

[NOTE TO READERS: Those of you who've read my blog for a while know my position - it's really simple - How can we expect to have a "law abiding society," when we give the privilege of citizenship to folks whose first act in coming here - is to break the law? Huh? Answer me that please. It just doesn't make any sense!]

So anyway, during the campaign I waited to hear how either of these 2 geniuses was going to handle illegal immigration. You know, those nearly 20 million illegals who are already here in this country, for which both you and I already pay taxes to support. What did I hear? Zippity-do-da, bubkiss, NADA! (To use my best high school Espanol.)

Let's just see how long after January 20th it takes President Obama before he;

grants AMNESTY to the 20 million illegals and family members already here - (BTW-67% of all Latinos voted for "the Obama"). Granting amnesty would eliminate any border security measures enacted during the last 8 years. I also wonder what will happen to general immigration laws and requirements under Obama/Reid/Pelosi? Are open borders conceivable? Will we witness the creation of a megacountry "Mexi-meri-ada?" (sounds like a bad hotel chain to me.)

BUT - mark my words - he will sign them into law while smiling into the camera and saying, "Well, I am just enacting what the Congress and the people of the United States has put before me in a bill." Our first "Teflon President" will deflect any personal criticism from himself.

Reid, Pelosi, Shumer and the rest of the congressional socialist democrats already drooling over "all those Hispanic votes" will, (along with the Obama Cabinet and other appointments), champion Lord Obama's pogroms* against our Republic. A tale of two authors - Caroline Kennedy & Al Franken

This morning I was listening to Mark Simone on WABC. Mark's topic for the segment was Caroline Kennedy's qualifications to be Senator for the State of New York.

(First of all, let me apologize to the rest of America for having to listen to this argument ad infinitum. If you're getting sick-and-tired of listening to and about NYState (liberal) politics, just CLICK off this item. I won't mind. DON'T WORRY, it'll all be over in a few weeks, when NY's ultra-Liberal Governor, will announce his choice for the most ultra-Liberal appointment in one of America's ultra-Liberal states. )

As far as Caroline Kennedy's qualifications for the position are concerned - the page is blank - period!

She received a degree in law - and NEVER practiced law.
She co-authored a couple of books - well, so has Al Franken.
She has a history of serving - IS THIS STARTING TO SOUND LIKE "SOMEBODY ELSE'S" LAUDED QUALIFICATIONS TO YOU?
She hasn't voted in nearly half of recent elections.
I don't know about you - but if I hear that she's for "change & hope" ... that'll surely ice it for me!!!

This morning Simone asked a Kennedy supporter to rank Caroline Kennedy's qualifications. The caller said, "She's much more intelligent than Sarah Palin." (There's an 'on-topic' remark!) When Mark challenged him, he said. "Well, she's done so much more than Sarah Palin." (Ooyyy! my head hurts). Again Mark challenged him asking for proof of what she's done, he finally said, "Mark, she has it in her jeans."

What????????????????

Think heavily on that last line......."She has it in her jeans." I remember when John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate.
By the next morning there was a You Tube video by doofus "P Ditty" ridiculing McCain's choice and warning him that..."we're not going to let you win this election....."

What struck me most, wasn't hiz warning - (because this cretin and his ilk are all about gaining "props" by throwing their rap profits around, while knowing almost nothing about almost everything) - what struck me was that I overheard 2 groups of h.s. aged girlz talking about it at the mall the next day! For me, I knew then that Obama was going to win.

Obama managed to win the election because he completely GOT IT! He used email, web casting, blogging, texting and all the other "new age" technologies to gain the votes of all those millions of folks who basically can't go anywhere or do anything without their cell phones attached to their lobes.

Here comes the hypocrisy of da left. All election cycle the Obamites have been screaming that "we don't want any more elitists in Washington," "we've had enough of Bush & Clinton family politics!"

Now they want yet another Kennedy selected to go to Washington. They SCREAM at anyone voicing concern over Caroline Kennedy having ZIPPITY-DO-DA experience. BUT - they of course were right when they said Sarah Palin being the Governor of Alaska - DIDN'T COUNT! What a bunch of fat ass Hypocrites! I even heard the daughter of Patrick Moynahan say that "Caroline Kennedy has the style and grace needed to be our New York Senator." What a load of crap!

Since when is one of the requirements of being a New York Senator - style and/or grace?
Oh, yeah - that's right - style and grace go hand-in-hand with our President elect's major accomplishments being......

Ever since election day on November 4th., my LIBERAL friends have been needling me because of Barack Hussein Obama's election over John McCain.

Fact is....They deserve to gloat! With very few exceptions....Our Presidential candidate and the GOP slate in general got our collective asses kicked - across the country! (To this day, we STILL haven't beaten a washed up, never funny, former comedian from Saturday Night Live, Al -no talent- Franken!) It's simply amazing, that as a party, we could have done this badly.

But before I watch my hippie-socialist-leaning-buddies go romping through the fields of flowers extolling the virtues of spreading MY wealth around to others....I figured I better give them a small mental enema & depress them just a little. (Believe me this should be depressing for all Americans - note that I said it should be.) Unfortunately what I'm about to tell you won't make one bit of difference to many of you, because most Americans have already forgotten about the election and are "back at the Mall" as George Carlin used to say!

So, before all you Liberal pinko Democratz start slapping yourselves on the back because "NOW WE HAVE A MANDATE!" You had better take a look at the numbers and reign in your collective enthusiasms........

As of July 2008, the population of the United States was 303,000,000 people.
Nearly 218,000,000 (71.9%) are over the age of 18 and eligible to vote in elections.
Less than 60% (59.4%) of eligible voters, voted. (129,400,000 voted of 218,000,000 eligible)
That's only 42.7% of the total American population!
A President of the United States was elected by LESS THAN HALF of the American Population.
A President of the United States was elected by LESS THAN A THIRD of all eligible voters.

Barack Hussein Obama received votes from 69,500,000 Americans - or 22.9% of the American population - 31.9% of all eligible voters - 53.7% of those Americans who voted.

John McCain received votes from 59,900,000 Americans - or 19.8% of the American population - 27.5% of all eligible voters - 46.2% of those Americans who voted.

As a country ... as a people, we should be ASHAMED that more than 88 million 600 thousand of our friends and neighbors eligible to vote in this election, DIDN'T VOTE!!!

It's simply UNFATHOMABLE to me, that so many Americans find something else - more important than participating in the system THAT HAS GIVEN THEM EVERYTHING!

Can't you just for one day understand that there is something more important than you.

I'm starting to worry about our President Elect..........

He didn't know about this - he didn't know about that - he never heard his Reverend "spew" anti-American hatred in 20 years of church going. He never talked to - nor wondered about how the Governor of his own state was dealing with his own Senate seat.......Huh? Are you kidding me?

Now, he says he's confident that no one in his campaign spoke to the Illinois Governor about his senate seat. Really???

Well, does the new Presidential Chief of Staff count? What about Rahm Emanuel? He's on recorded conversations the FBI has, talking to the Illinois Governor about who would be acceptable to President elect Obama as his Senate replacement. Ya mean Rahm and good pal Barry never talked about Rahm maybe giving the Gov. a call just to make sure all the "usual suspects" were being considered?

Just so everyone understands this correctly........that's conversationssssss - plural - meaning more than one conversation - Rahm had with Gov. Rod, regarding who Obama would find acceptable.

Dear President-elect Obama:
Sir. With the same measure of due respect you and your Party gave President Bush.....
Asking intelligent Americans to believe that a savvy politician such as yourself - brought up as part of Chicago-style "machine politics" .......

a) had no input on who was being considered for your Senate seat;
b) no interest in how it was done;
c) no awareness of conversations Rahm Emanuel was having with the Governor on your behalf

........is like asking the American people (to use Senator Clinton's quote/insult to General Petraus) to apply a "willful suspension of disbelief!" We're not that stupid Sir - regardless of what the media Networks tell you about us!

The next President of the United States should not begin prevaricating to the American population a month before the Inauguration.

Bailouts and the American "Work Ethic"

Used to be that the United States rewarded success. The "hero's" in this country were held up as examples to the rest of the world as innovators & visionaries - people who had changed the lives of all mankind. "Titans of Industry" they were called. I'm talking about men like Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Orville and Wilbur Wright, John Moses Browning, and more recently pc creator Bill Gates. When I was a boy growing up, my Swedish immigrant parents preached to me constantly, that "in America you can achieve anything as long as you're willing to work hard and never give up!"

For all of these men and countless other men and women who did something that no one else had previously done, failure was a closer "friend" to them than success was! Which one of any American boy or girl hasn't learned the following rhyme before they were 6 years old? "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!"

Edison is said to have tried more than 4000 times before successfully "inventing" the light bulb.
Henry Ford went bankrupt 5 times before succeeding.
The Coca-Cola Bottling Company sold less than 500 bottles of Coke the entire first year in production.

I keep thinking that the work ethic my Mom & Dad preached to me and my sister about, has been replaced by a "hand out ethic." What I mean is, when folks today make a bad decision and fail, many times they go running to someone they hope will solve the problem for them - many times this comes in the form of holding out their hand so someone can put some money in it!

Back in the late 20's, 30's and 40's when families went on Public Assistance...i.e.: "welfare and/or unemployment," many people PAID IT BACK after they returned to work! Do ya think that would ever happen today? During the depression years, company owners and their workers alike who had lost their jobs - took jobs sweeping their local streets and sidewalks for a few dollars a week, or dug ditches shoulder to shoulder - in order to put a little food on their family tables. Can you see this happening today?

When this years first bailout occurred a month or so ago, I worried that Pandora's Box had been opened! Then came the auto industry exec's with their hands out. (The MOST unbelievable aside to the auto industry fiasco, is that the Unions won't budge and don't recognize their culpability in the demise of the industry! UNBELIEVABLE!) And just the other day I heard that a number of States are making noises that they need a bailout from Washington! Where will it end?

Either on Election Day or the day before, I heard a radio interview with a "woman on the street" segment. I don't remember how old the woman was, what city she lived in, or what her employment status was, but when asked who she thought she was going to vote for she said, "Well if Barack Obama is going to pay my mortgage, make my car payment, and pay off my student loans, who do you think I'm going to vote for!" Once again..."hand out ethic" rather than "work ethic."

Seems to me that the definition of "bailing out" anything, is the act of trying to save something that's failing. The easiest example I can think of is bailing out a boat as it sinks around you. You may succeed - but would you be stupid enough to get back in the boat without proof that it's been repaired first? In that regard, bailing out the auto industry, or a State, or AIG, or Fannie Mae, or an individual mortgage holder equates to rewarding failure! One could argue that there might never have been an auto industry, or a light bulb, or the pc if their respective inventors hadn't failed numerous times before succeeding! Would Edison have even attempted the 2000th experiment if he had gotten compensated for 1,999 failures? Maybe he would have figured it was just easier to give up!

What Congress is asking us to believe is that we have to bail out these institutions - or individuals. Nonsense! Company's and people recover from bankruptcy. Is it easy? NO! It's not supposed to be EASY! It's supposed to change organizations and people so that failing again DOESN'T HAPPEN. Furthermore, if you would save them without first gaining assurances that they would never get in that situation again, you are only perpetuating the "hand-out ethic" in both company's and individuals.

Is that what we've become? Is that what we want?

"A Few Of My Favorite Things"

Why is this "stuff" so easy to me? (Don't get me wrong - I am NOT a Saint, nor do I even consider myself that good a human being!) But why I wonder, are the answers to so many controversial issues these days - easy for me to decide upon?

Maybe it's because when I was taught "right from wrong" in my childhood, I was also taught that ... if you do do something wrong - big or small - there are consequences! And I think that's the difference! That whole notion of having to "pay the consequences" was very real to me.

All of which brings me to my first "favorite thing." Plaxico Burris shooting himself in the thigh with a concealed handgun while at a dance club.

"Dear Plaxico: It is AGAINST THE LAW to carry a concealed weapon in public - even moreso an illegal weapon. PERIOD! GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL!! FORFEIT YOUR $35,000,000 GIANT CONTRACT!!!

The LAW does not allow "a special exemption" for highly paid celebrity NFL receivers - out after midnight - who wear their baseball cap crook-ed, and carry an illegal pistol in their sweatpants! When you heard the gun go off, you should have also realized that your CONTRACT and your CAREER were going with it. Enjoy your time in the "BIG HOUSE" with those other "thuggees" OJ Simpson & Michael Vick. See what happens when you think you're "something special?" And who wears sweatpants out to a dance club? Whaz zup wit dat???

Next "thing" (and I mean it) "thing." Chris Dodd, Senator from Connecticut.....is all of a sudden worried about saving Connecticut auto dealerships and the U.S. auto industry. When asked yesterday about the "bailout" for the big-three auto makers, Dodd said, "Inaction is unacceptable. We would be indicted by history if that's what we did."

"Dear Senator Dodd: I am puzzled why you would be worried about inaction regarding the auto industry bailout- NOW? Especially since your statements during the last two years - (along with those of another un-indicted Representative, Barney Frank) - almost assuredly caused the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac! Both you and Senator Frank assured the American public that those two lending organizations were in perfect health and didn't need any increased overview or further regulation. Your inaction during the last two years should be cause for both you and Congressperson Frank to be indicted by a Court and sent to prison for lying to the American people and causing the financial collapse of the mortgage industry. Had you been truthful, many thousands of American families could have avoided loosing their homes!

Last issue on my list. Democrats rushing to "enshrine" Caroline Kennedy into Hillary Clinton's vacant Senate seat!

Let's mark this one "way up there" on the "List of Most Hypocritical Senatorial Appointment EVER!" For two reasons. First reason.... if the elected Governor of the largest State in our country isn't considered experienced enough to be a Vice-Presidential candidate, then "the crowning" of the ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY INEXPERIENCED Caroline Kennedy should be viewed as equally ludicrous! Second reason...... Liberals have been "calling for" the elimination of the American Ruling Class for years! "We don't want to have ruling families like Clinton or Bush anymore," has been their cry. I'd submit to all Americans that there is no better example of a "political dynasty" in this country than the Kennedy Clan. There is perhaps no greater an example of ill-gotten gains, machine & party politics at its worst - than the Kennedy Clan. If Liberals want to do away with an American Ruling Class, the Kennedy family MUST be added to the list with the Clintons and the Bushes.

Regarding Bailouts for the Auto Industry, and other industries that have failed us.

This week - especially today - the Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dumb, and Tweedle Dumber of what used to be the U.S. auto industry, will be appearing before a Congressional committee that holds their respective company's futures in their hands................Pardon me, but isn't this like the Three Stooges pleading their case before the Keystone Cops?? And if I hear one screaming Lib say we have to do this because this is "a hand up - instead of a handout," I think I'll blow lunch! To quote Steve Martin, "Puuuull-lleeeesssseeee!"

You're going to be giving my tax dollars to someone else, because they aren't smart enough to run their business profitably - - that's a handout!! Does Congress think we're still that stupid? What hurts worse is that Congress is couching it as "loans." What guarantee is there that any of these "three blind mice of auto-stupidity" will ever be able to pay back one penny?

And what hurts the most is that Congress thinks nothing of "BETTING" your and my tax dollars (a.k.a. my retirement dollars) that this will be the saving grace our auto industry needs - just this one last time -this time they'll really change - (just like the last time with Iacocca and Chrysler "taught" them so much).

It's like listening to a drug addict tell you s/he's going to kick the habit this time (as they're looking out the window across the street to where the pusher just walked up to the corner! OR, it's like listening to Congress tell us during election time that Washington has to change - and they're just the candidates to do it!!!!

(Let's see....what's that definition of "insanity" again? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.)

Personally, I'm all for letting the three of them go into bankruptcy. This is the only way the American people can be sure they'll change. Because they'll be forced to. For me, bankruptcy brings with it the added benefit of giving each of the three the ability to break the UAW "strangle-hold" on the industry. Don't get me wrong, I know the UAW has been important in the lives of it's members, but lets face it, in the past companies having bargaining unit employees in the UAW (and other unions) have had to close because the Unions made the "cost of doing business" too high.

I know this personally, because I was the chief labor negotiator for one of those company's during the early '90's. And even though we flat out told the UAW (and the IBEW) that unless they lowered their wage and benefit demands the company would be forced to leave New Jersey, they didn't care. They kept demanding higher hourly wages and a dollar more per employee into the union "war chest." Then they screamed with "righteous anger" when we announced the plant closing, packed up and left for Florida!

What happened? Well, most importantly 600 great New Jersey employees lost the jobs many of them had worked hard at for 8 - 15 years. The company restructured, and moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida into a brand new facility. I trained & hired 500 part-time "sno-bird" employees who only wanted to work 20 hrs a week, paid them about half of the $18-20 per hour the New Jersey employees were making.....and the UAW lost yet another bargaining unit.

You see, there are two things UNIONS never tell their bargaining unit members.

First, as a union employee you can no longer walk into a managers office and talk to them about your job or your efforts. Conversely, management can't come out to you and say, "man what a great job you're doing, here's $50." As part of the bargaining unit, the "individual" goes away.

Second, and most importantly...no union can ever force a company to stay open. If "the Union" makes it too expensive for a company to continue producing product....the company can call it quits. PERIOD.

A few weeks ago when I heard the head of the UAW take the hard line and say on television....No concessions! I thought, gee - there's a gauntlet being thrown down. I wonder how this is going to end? I guess we'll have to see.

I'd love to see no $$$$ go to any company - the Insurance industry, the finance industry, or Detroit. This is NOT what government is for. However, in the same vein - neither is government to be a bottomless tax collector, nor should government strive ONLY to get bigger. At some point.... and based upon Mr. Obama's campaign promises this may be the perfect starting point...... both the U.S. auto industry and the U.S. government MUST change.

For this American tax payer, "change" is spelled "S H R I N K."
(Is that too harsh?)
